SMALLVILLE — “Sacrifice” (8:00-9:00 p.m.)
Tess (Cassidy Freeman) breaks into Watchtower, triggering an elaborate security system that Chloe (Allison Mack) installed, ultimately trapping the two women inside. Clark (Tom Welling) realizes Zod (Callum Blue) has given his soldiers super powers.

SMALLVILLE — “Hostage” (8:00-9:00 p.m.)

Much to Clark’s (Tom Welling) surprise, Martha Kent (guest star Annette O’Toole) returns to Smallville with her new boyfriend, Perry White (guest star Michael McKean), in tow. Chloe (Allison Mack) helps Clark search for the Book of Rao, which they believe contains information on how to stop Zod (Callum Blue) and his army.

SEASON FINALE SMALLVILLE — “Salvation” (8:00-9:00 p.m.)
When Zod (Callum Blue) and the Kandorians launch their brutal attack on Earth, Chloe (Alison Mack) calls in some old friends to join the fight against the aliens. Clark (Tom Welling) and Zod face off in an epic battle for the control of Earth.

I hope they bring in Justice...they've verified Black Canary, but I want ALL the boys...GA, Impulse, Aquaman, Cyborg, Martian Manhunter, the Justice Society, ...hell, even bring in the Suicide Squad and Checkmate...I want all out WAR! Zod IS a soldier after all...have him tear shit up and the only way to stop him is to get EVERYBODY in on it...

sounds like a good build up, then again, so was the build up for doomsday, :-( Hopefully, we won't get another crap finish this season. I'm guessing Mrs. Kent gets the coup de gras on the last episode, along with Zod

...and the segue to Season 10 could be that Zod and his soldiers tore the HELL out of Metropolis...and LexCorp helps rebuild...ala the storyline in the comics with the Brainiac tech infused with Metropolis...damn, I's gots some GOOD ideas...

that's a good point...
she DID die in Superman 3...so whether they're following the Reeve timeline or comic timeline is still up in the air...
or maybe she'll show up, just in time to be in an accident and to be infused with meteor rock, thus becoming all powerful and defeating Zod on her own...naw...that'd be stupid...they'd never do something like THAT...

Lets hope superdog, but i have been very happy this year. Sure some things could be better, but I take Smallville at what it is.

what I think sucks is they made the Absolute Justice 2 hour episode, but something so epic as Zod's soldiers descending on the world only gets 1 hour? 45 minutes if you factor in commercials...

I hear they are bringing back the JSA and Justice for the finale. I know Cyborg will be there but not sure of aquaman.

This season finale is shaping up to be the best in the history of the series. CAN'T WAIT!

@DeathWalker Yes. Hawkman, and Star Girl are both coming back as well as Black Canary and Cyborg. Not sure who else yet, though. Hopefully J'onn J'onnz, Aquaman and Impulse both make appearances.

I also have a funny feeling that Metallo is gonna figure in with the fight somehow...either as the one who weakens Zod with his green kryptonite heart, or, with the red kryptonite upgrade, the one who changes Clark into enough of a bad ass to defeat Zod and put him down permanently...
If Hawkman is in the fight, blood will definitely fly, and Star Girl will be doing more of her lame gymnastics...Cyborg will probably have an upgrade with some type of weaponry and to paraphrase a great actor...J'onn J'onnz will "go full Martian"...GA will probably take the sniper route, but I don't really see Aquaman as being useful in a fight like this...but Impulse would OWN, fighting at superspeed like Clark and the Kandorians can...

DAMN! This was a GREAT SEASON!! and the season finale
is going to be EPIC! Thank you for a 10th season!!

The last few episodes sounds great!!

as for the finale..I HOPE they bring in the other
Justice League menbers, Also the JSA..and the
Legion of superheroes!!

Meh, sounds pretty lame really. I havent watched the show since the JSA episode but this sounds so bland I dont think I'll even bother catching up. Clark vs. Zod? Let me guess, Clark will win and by the end of the season there will have still been zero character development and he still wont be able to fly. I pretty much lost all respect for the show when they pulled that whole stunt with Jimmy at the end of last season.

I hope this is cool Smallville has a tendency of being sort of disappointing especially last season but this could be cool.

I really like Smallville when they bring in characters from the DCU.
But this whole ZOD material is getting abit old.
It'd be nice to see them have the JSA back or even other heroes like The Phantom Stranger, Lobo or even a Wonder Woman story line.
I hope they keep the series going but this whole Lex - ZOD crap has to be put on the back burner for awhile.

Are you Freaking Serious? Perry White and Martha Kent Dating! What a Load of crap when did that ever happen in the comics this is going to far I can deal with the death Of Jimmy (which was a terrible idea he was perfect) I can deal with giving Lana Superpowers and having her never come back, I can even deal with the loss of Lex Luther...

But I can not Stand By the decision to have Martha Kent and Perry White together That Makes no sense at all! That is the Most retarded thing I have Heard since Pete Developed Super Powers from Stride Gum! What Are the Writers thinking with this Episode?!!!
