Originally this was posted on my blog, but I think it will be more appreciated here. This is my first attempt at any sort of list like this and would love some feedback, I apologize in advance if I posted this in the wrong spot. Also this is my first post!

Ladies and gentlemen, Smallville is officially ending its ten-year run on May 13th. Now I love Smallville but there are a couple of things I want to see before I watch the finale. Smallville has done a lot in its ten-year run from bringing in more DC Comics characters to having the best theme song ever! But I can't help but feel like it is missing a few important things. Originally I was going to make a top 10 only to discover that 5 of them were going to happen in season 10! So instead of just erasing them I'll share both the top 5 things that I want to happen and the top 5 things I wanted, that are going to happen.

This is my list of the top 5 things that are going to happen.

1. Ultraman: The multiverse, while not the way I wanted, has been introduced in previous episodes but one of the biggest things I wanted to see was Ultraman...who makes his debut in episode 10 of season 10.

2. Blue Beetle: Blue Beetle is awesome and will be debuting along with Booster Gold in the season episode "Booster".

3. Darksied: Darksied is one of the most absolute evil beings ever, "killed" Batman in Final Crisis (Batman was actually traveling through time), and is the main villain of season 10.

4. Deathstroke: Slade Wilson is the biggest badass on the planet and a major heavy hitter villain. He was also in the season 10 episodes "Patriot" and "Icarus".

5. Tom Welling in the suit: What else would it have been? I've wanted this since Pilot was aired. Bring in them Red and Blues!

This is my list of the top 5 things that I want to happen.

5. Better Bizarro: Me am not want comic Bizarro! Me am happy with Smallville Bizarro! Him am have talk backwards! Him am has fire breathe! Him am to Phantom Zone!

4. Mr. Mxyzptlk: In the season 4 episode "Jinx" a foreign-exchange student Mikhail Mxyzptlk has the power of persuasion. *blink* *blink* there's no way that's right...WHAT TH.....WHY!!!? According to Wikipedia, Mxyzptlk "has access to Fifth Dimensional technology that appears to be magical to Third Dimensional beings. His abilities are limited only by his willpower (he could, for example, make Superman morbidly obese by snapping his fingers). His only apparent weakness is that he is shunted back to the Fifth Dimension whenever he speaks his name backwards." And they gave him the power of persuasion!!?

3. Introduce the Trinity: How could I not put this on the list? That's like not putting Mr. Zsasz on a list of the best Batman villains! (Now there's an idea...). Have it early enough in all of their careers (hell, I'll take a flashback!) to make it work in continuity and you could even make the rest of my list plausible...

2. Lead into The Man of Steel: What would have been amazing is if they used the already established Smallville universe and brought it to the big screen. From there they could easily link it into Christopher Nolan's Batman Continuity and eventually lead to...

1. Justice League of America: Seriously why aren't they doing this!? Don't get me wrong, I love the little "early years JLA" they've got but never officially named, but I want the real deal! I want Superman, I want Batman, I want Wonder Woman, Flash (BARRY Allen!!! It's not that I didn't like Kyle Gallner as Bart Allen, it just makes no sense on why he couldn't have been Barry), Green Lantern (Hal Jordan), Aquaman, and the Martian Manhunter! Also I swear to god if it ends up being like the 1997 TV-Film, there will be blood!

1.sack the creative team, hire some decent writers.
2.get the whole cast acting lessons
3.kill chloe.
4.teach him to fight.
5.teach him to fly.
6.teach him how to dress properly(the iconic outfit)
7.leave out darkseid, keep him for a big budget movie.
8.more action than 5 minutes each week.
9.tell serinda swan aka zatanna to get her boobs out for the lads.

I agree with what SuperHeroDude666 says, Smallville has been great the last two seasons. Also, Serinda Swan has been the most accurately cast (visually) on the show.

I really thought chloe was going to be the one who died in season 8 finale,it would of made the story a little bit better, cos they they could of kept aaron ashmore as jimmy instead of making his brother another jimmy,i mean who names both there kids the same lol
Im alright with him not wearing the suit yet BECAUSEEEE if he did then we would have another ''lois and clark: the new adventures of superman'' and look how long that lasted, soo its bull shit when people say '' he should of worn the suit seasons ago!'' because its the fact he doesnt that makes it interesting..so there, but i agree on the wearing glasses part

I agree with Marvel72's list. I would replace number 9, however, with not killing off Hawkman. As for you, Wyokid, ending the Smallville TV show universe and keeping it as far away from the new movie would be the best idea in the world. Oh, wait! That's what is happening anyway.
