Writes Hatcher, "I shot my Smallville part. While I'm sworn to secrecy, I can tell you that it was a blast from the past and it was with love in my heart that I tried to deliver something that served the part, honored the show in it's 10th season, and gave a tip of the hat to all the deserved fans who've supported me all these years. Many thanks. It was lots of fun. Ah...Lois. I love Susan but I've missed you:) Stay tuned for info and air dates."

On November 12th she added to TVGuide.com, "It is a very small cameo that I did as a gesture of respect to honor all the devoted Superman saga fans who've supported me then as Lois and support me now as [Desperate Housewives'] Susan. It's been quite special to be involved in two entirely different but significant television worlds. I just hope everyone enjoys it as much as I did," she says. "Getting to step back into that world and 'wig' just made me feel grateful for all the opportunities I've had over the years."

Saying that.... I'd rather she wasn't the mother tho???

Why can't WB (oops CW) do a episode in an ALTERNATE REALITY ... u know a 'LOIS & CLARK' one like 'FRINGE' where Smallville's Lois and Clark gets stuck in it? Nah that would be too good for Smallville to think up and too cool! : P

I'm with you as always when talking about Lois & Clark, Tea! Not only was Teri the very best Lois but you know Dean Cain was damn hard to beat as Super MAN! I prefered him over all the others and me and my girlfriend always pop the series in the player every now and then ;)

LEEE- Yeah, seriously! It could have gone one for way longer than that. But i have to say, the writers were getting a bit repetitive. All they needed was a new writing crew!

Hatcher was a good Lois and Cain was a decent
Superman WITH A BIGGER BUDGET the show would've
been much better.

@LEEE777: That's actually the way to look at Smallville.

This isn't Superman. This isn't Superboy. This isn't Earth-1.

The universe where Smallville takes place is an alternate universe and this is a different story of how a different Superman came to be.

If you release Smallville from being THE Superman story and just let it be what it is, it's a lot of fun.

ThePencilNeck-I've been saying for awhile now that Smallville was in a alternate universe thats why I dont
have a BIG problem with the show .

Clark hasnt flown yet, doesnt wear the uniform, dont
wear the glasses,doesnt trust Lois,but he's already
at the DAILY PLANET.

If he was the SUPERMAN we all know and love he'd
have all those things in order by now.

This is the watered down version of the DCU.. CW or WB style whatever the network is called,
but Im cool with it because it beats NO SUPERHEROES at all!!!

durance is hawt, but never underestimate the hawtness of a sexy older mature woman... less drama is a huge win!!

watching smallville now and it just gave me an idea... superman, regardless what reality he is in, should just drop the clark disguise and reveal himself to the world as superman... get it over with. drop the glasses. he of all superheros should be the one who has no "secret identity" anymore!!

SWEEEEEEET! Can't wait to watch her ep. Her and Dean Cain in the same ep would be awesome!!! In it's final season, anything can happen, right?

@grif
WTF? It's just a human being recognizing that a certain role and fan base was pivotal in getting her career started gave said fan base something back.
Not surprised you don't recognize class or humility.

Being a superman faithful for over 30 years now and OMG please Dean Cain was The worst Superman ever !!Does not look the part ,totally did not get the character. The most horrible casting since stick woman bitch on wheels Kate Bosworth as lois lane. Erica Durrance and Terri Hatcher were the best lois lanes ever. Lois is us looking at Superman.
