Following the events of Justice League Dark: Apokolips War, Superman: Man of Tomorrow served as a new take on the Man of Steel's origin story with a fresh animation style that carried over into Justice Society: World War II. While we'll meet another version of Supes in Injustice, it remains to be seen when we'll get to return to this iteration of the iconic DC superhero's world.
Another character who made a significant impact in that movie was, of course, Martian Manhunter. J'onn J'onzz has always been a fan-favourite, and seeing him take centre stage alongside Superman was a real treat for those who have followed his comic book adventures.
Mortal Kombat Legends: Battle of the Realms star Ikè Amadi was responsible for bringing the hero to life in Superman: Man of Tomorrow, and we recently asked him about possibly reprising the role.
"Yeah, I loved Martian Manhunter. It was my first foray into the DC Animated Universe and I loved it," the actor told us over the phone. "I have some other ideas. None that I can talk about out loud [Laughs] but Martian Manhunter is fantastic, and I hope to be able to do it again!"
It sounds like Ikè is definitely mulling over some sort of return to the DCAU. Given what an incredible series of credits he's racked up as an actor - including The Prowler in Spider-Man: Miles Morales - we're definitely excited to see which other characters he could bring to life in this animated realm.
We'll be sure to keep you updated, but check back here tomorrow for our full interview with Ikè.
Mortal Kombat Legends: Battle of the Realms is available now on 4K/Blu-ray & Digital!
