Over on the Vero social media app, Man of Steel and Justice League director Zack Snyder has shared a snap of Henry Cavill's first audition for the role of Superman where he wore Christopher Reeve's costume.  A version of this photo has surfaced before but it was of a lower quality with bad lighting. Since this photo comes from Snyder's personal Vero account the image is obviously from his own personal collection and not a copy or duplicate.

On Cavill's first audition (which was probably about five or six years ago), Snyder has previously stated, "We didn’t have the suit made when Henry was auditioning, so he wore the original Christopher Reeve suit. He put it on and when he came out of the trailer, everyone was like, ‘Dang, you’re Superman!"

The mere mention of the original suit makes the John Williams iconic music play in my head.

@JoeMomma29 - There's literally nothing to like about Man of Murder.

@Melkac - Yet, if you have been reading Superman comics that have been printed since the 1990a you have been a fan the so-called "Man of Murder" this whole time. Superman killed Zod in the comics and didn't kill again until it meant his own life a few years later in "The Death of Superman," and that Superman is still Superman to this day.

@AMrSundayGirl58 - It's cute that you think his murderous tendencies are the problem.
