BARRY COMES UP WITH A PLAN TO DEFEAT ZOOM — After recent events, Barry (Grant Gustin) decides it’s time to confront Zoom and comes up with a dangerous plan. Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker) sides with Jay (guest star Teddy Sears) and deems it too dangerous for Barry to engage with the speed demon. However, Iris (Candice Patton) shows her support and brings forth a surprising ally. We see what Earth-2 Harrison Wells’ (Tom Cavanagh) life was like before coming through the breech. JJ Makaro directed the episode written by Gabrielle Stanton & Brooke Eikmeier.

The kidnapped daughter angle was obvious when they kept focusing on her in the first scene, but still a great episode

Good episode tonight I enjoyed it, don't understand why they making Jay a b!tch though. Which irritates me very much.

I know his daughter is kidnapped, but Wells can't be trusted, no matter what Earth he's from.

Really liking this douchey Wells. A touch of the 'ol "scientist" Luthor in him. The Flash is the all a round best comic book TV series in my opinion.
And In watching AoS right now. Not a bad episode. I like when SHEILD sticks to being what it should be, first and foremost...a spy series.

@Greengo I know, but Eobard became Wells!!! It's like the team forgets there was another Wells before Thawne...the way they speak of him. They talk as if Eobard WAS Wells. Earth 2 Wells talks like that as well. He's been led to believe that Thawne was his double when he wasn't really.....

Thawne did takeover Earth 1 Wells' life and started Star Labs with his memories and intellect so, maybe it's safe to say he literally became Wells during those 15 years....idk. Its a mind [frick] haha.

It's starting to bother me that everyone keeps saying that E2 Wells is bad just like E1 Wells.

Here's the problem... E1 Wells was not Wells at all. It was Eobard Thawne. E1 Wells was killed by Thawne.

Everything shown about E1 Wells in the flash backs showed him as being a pretty ok guy.

So everyone has to get off of the whole "E1 Wells was evil so E2 Wells has to be evil too!"

Earth-2 Wells isn't evil. At least I don't think he is. He is arrogant and a bit of a dick, but I don't believe he's evil.

Yeah like some have said E1 Wells was actually Eobard Thawne, so there is no reason to assume E2 Wells is evil, based on that reason at least. Someone brought up that he could be trying to get close to Barry to kill him and save his daughter from Zoom, which is a possibility.
