THOR: LOVE AND THUNDER Could Feature Return Of AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR Star Peter Dinklage As Eitri

There's a lot of excitement surrounding Thor: Love and Thunder ahead of its release later this year, and it now appears as if Avengers: Infinity War star Peter Dinklage will be back as Eitri the dwarf.

Aside from a few revealing set photos, Marvel Studios has done an excellent job keeping Thor: Love and Thunder's biggest secrets under wraps. We do, however, know that Gorr the God Butcher will be the movie's lead villain, while Jane Foster is set to transform into the Mighty Thor with a reformed version of Mjolnir in hand (some recent promo art offered our best look yet at the character suited up).

Is it possible Nidavellir's giant dwarf, Eitri, is responsible for piecing the ancient weapon back together?

The Cosmic Circus has spotted a listing on IMDb suggesting that actor Peter Dinklage's hairstylist, Lane Friedman, is working on Thor: Love and Thunder with the Game of Thrones alum.

This being IMDb, it's probably best not to get too excited, but it's such a minor update that there's a good chance this information is correct. Considering Eitri was largely wasted in Avengers: Infinity War, it makes sense to give Dinklage a meatier, more satisfying role in this movie, expanding on the importance he has to the wider Marvel Cinematic Universe.

After all, we're talking about the guy who helped forge Mjolnir, Stormbreaker, and the Infinity Gauntlet, so it only feels right that Eitri is given another shot after a mostly forgettable introduction.

Thor: Love and Thunder is set to blast into theaters on July 8!

Makes sense. He'll reforge Mjolnir. Sounds cool.

I still don't get why they decided to make him a giant the more traditional aspects of the nine realms is something I really like when Thor or his supporting cast have adventures there, but given they axed his supporting cast I guess it doesn't matter.

I’m down. Him and Thor in their brief scene was pretty cool. I’d also like to see what became of etri after infinity war. He had no one else.

I still remember the guy who sat next to watching IW breaking out laughing as soon as he popped up. Excellent cameo and hope he returns.

@BlackBeltJones - which will be insane , i don't know if many read her run like that but Jane used the hammer better than Thor a few times.

It'd be cool if Thor could help him forge some prosthetic hands.

Not too surprising especially since he made Mjolnir and Mjolnir has clearly been fixed for Jane to use

More screen time. One of the few American actors that can pull off an excellent British accent

Makes sense. He's probably the one most qualified to reforge Mjolnir anyway.

And also kinda expect him to live in New Asgard already, since I doubt Thor would leave him alone at the forge (also, why killed Thanos all the dwarfs? Why not only half?)

I'm sorry, but his performance was so bad. I just do not understand how people can watch it and think otherwise. Not one thing that came out of his mouth sounded natural.
