Marvel is looking for a new director to helm their Thor adaptation as Matthew Vaugh is no longer attached.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, "Matthew Vaughn no longer is attached to direct the project because his holding deal expired December."

Marvel Studios is on the move for a new director and is currently waiting for a polished script from screenwriter Mark Protosevich

President Kevin Feige said of Marvel Studios said; "It's very much a Marvel superhero story but against the backdrop of nothing you've seen before."
