RUMOR: This A-List Actor Reportedly Has An Incredible Sounding Cameo In THOR: RAGNAROK

If a new report is to be believed, we can expect a very famous actor to make what sounds like the best Marvel Cinematic Universe cameo to date in Taika Waititi's upcoming Thor: Ragnarok. Check it out!

Thor: Ragnarok boasts an incredible cast featuring names like Benedict Cumberbatch, Cate Blanchett, and Karl Urban but could another A-List star been added in secret? If the Weekly Planet podcast is to be believed, yes, as they claim that Jason Bourne star Matt Damon will be making an appearance.

However, before you get too excited about the actor joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe, it sounds like this will very much be a one-off played for laughs as Taiki Waititi is seemingly using him in
a very unique manner. Apparently, the movie will feature a scene set on Asgard in which we see pretty much the entirety of the first Thor movie recounted in a play and the role of Loki will be filled by Damon!

That sounds like the sort of tongue in cheek cameo we should expect from Marvel Studios and Waititi and it will be fun seeing which other well-known actors have been roped in for parts! The information reportedly
comes a source that's seen an early cut of the movie which is set to be released in the UK next month and November in the US. As always, though, it's best to take this news with a punch of salt.

Do you guys think we'll see Damon as Loki in Thor: Ragnarok or is this a tad far-fetched? As always, be sure to let us know your thoughts and theories on this rumour in the comments section down below.

Sounds very fun.

Threepio's retelling of ANH and Empire in Jedi was short but sweet.
And Bales rebelling of Star Wars trilogy in Ring of Fire was clever.

So is he playing an asgardian version of himself? Seems like a waste of a Damon?
