THOR: RAGNAROK Star Seemingly Confirms The Film Will Feature Marvel Studios' First Openly LGBT Character

It seems that Thor: Ragnarok has even more surprises up its sleeve, as one of the film's leads appears to have tipped a surprising (to those who don't know the comics) reveal prior to the film's release!

Earlier this week, Thor: Ragnarok star Tessa Thompson took to Twitter to respond to a thread that began with complaints of changes to Valkyrie's costume and race in the film:

The Tweet was favorited by Taika Waititi, who also portrays Korg in the film, and who was in a relationship with fellow Warbound member Hiroim in the comics. Loki is also portrayed as an LGBT character, being both pansexual (like another Marvel character, Deadpool) and able to change gender at wil.

The actress's willingness to state this publicly means it is
possible that Valkyrie's sexuality will actually be addressed in the movie.

I don't care if she is Bisexual or if they change the race or ethnicity of the character...there is something about her casting that rubs me the wrong way.
