Marvel Studios has a stellar track record but many fans agree that they stumbled somewhat with Thor: The Dark World back in 2013. Despite that, the Alan Taylor helmed sequel has a score of 66% on Rotten Tomatoes and it grossed over $644 million at the worldwide box office.

Regardless of whether you loved or hated the movie, we're now taking a look at some of the artwork which was used to bring Asgard and its many inhabitants to life after Kenneth Branagh's first instalment (mostly) kept things grounded here on Midgard.

In this latest round of artwork from Thor: The Dark World, we take a look at alternate designs for Algrim, Kurse, and the Dark Elves.
