New Transformers Cartoon On The Horizon!

Michael Bell reveals that a new Transformers series is in production!

Michael Bell, the voice behind Sideswipe in Transformers Gerneraton One, was interviewed by the good people over at the MoonBase 2 Podcast.

The series is currently being cast by Susan Blu, who voiced Arcee in the original G1 series.

Bell said in the interview that he auditioned for the roles of Ratchet and some guy named "General Fowler." Sounds like the series is going to have some military might involved. What we need to know is if this Fowler is going to be an ally or an obstacle in the Autobots path.

Also, on a side note, Mr. Bell stated that David Sobolov, the voice of Depth Charge in Beast Wars, was auditioning as well.

I am so glad they are making a new tranformers cartoon hopefully it won't have a kidish theme

Now, I'll buy that! I'd like it to be like G1 but better. Maybe where its on Cartoon Network like JLU TAS.

I really hope its better than the animated Transformers crap they have now. I saw 1 episode and I was done it was just horrible

cool. hopefully they look more like the G1 versions....come on new direction. Transformers can be great...aslong bay and fox arent involved. wonder if the spike witwicky character will be in it

Damn i need to see a new transormers cartoon. And not the kiddy cartoon they went for last time. Although the garbage truck transformers was pretty cool.

Another new cartoon? WTF? In the last 10 years we have had Transformers Armada, Energon, Cybertron, Animated & now this new one. Armada was pretty good. But they really should make just one animated series and try to make it long lasting like the latest TMNT series that ran for 7 seasons

That's what I mean by resolute . A serious Transformers cartoon like we had back in the day . In the same vein as G.I. joe : Resolute , it had the distinctions of the cartoon we all grew up watching . Action packed and purposely driven , not silly and insignificant .

They need to go back to their roots and just update G1. I have a feeling it'll be more like the live action movie though. I'm good so long as I don't have to see Devastator's balls again.
