245am not only managed to take some good photos of a Chicago Filming, but also recorded a video from the filming scene.

While filming in Chicago people have spotted what obviously is Optimus Prime and his trailer. Not only that but there is a pic of Sideswipe and the red ferrari(hopefully Hot Rod).There are also pics of what might be Lockdown and he is armored from head to toe or maybe Axor.

I like that Bay is trying to homage G1 with that look but this series just fails on so many levels.

Is it gonna disappear/reappear when he transforms? I bet all those whining about how it isnt exactly like the cartoon will be happy(changing mediums always change the story arcs, what works in print doesnt always work in film)

Its more than likely a MCV or armor. Possibly a connection to Ultra Magnus, if thats the case Ill feel cheated

From what I can tell it looks like two new impalas and from the history with Bay and GM all the GM vehicles are Autobots. So I would rule out Lockdown as being one of them.

@ Gaston I truly hope it appears and disappears for no apparent reason like in the cartoons...that was always a staple of the show. Never made sense but didn't matter...one of the worst ones is in the Animated Movie where Prime decides to go rampage on the Decepticons and "Turns the Tides" in that Autobot City War...


I just hope it has the proper little gun guy in the back...that little guy with the two barrels and just whips around blasting stuff...

Trailer looks bad ass though...on point...


Hot Rod (if it is him) needs to have his flames...and I don't think he's the right shade or Red either...he needs to be more Iron Man Red...hopefully they tweak it cuz Hot Rods my favorite character and I'd hate to see enm screw it up..although Bay has messed up pretty much every other character so I'll have to live with my pipe dream.

@ LaffaTaffa Ummm...pretty sure that Starscream was a GM Jet, and Devastator was a GM Whatever that thing really was...haha JK...Good Call on the GM correlation...although aside from a few Decepticons they arent really regular vehicles...

OK, this is a EPIC WIN!!! in my books anyway. I am loving it and I so just pissed my pants in a fit of extream excitement.

@Continuezero: ANd as for the little car with the guns is ROLLER and hope to see him as well.

I guess this is what Bay ment by Prime looking more mature.

You know maybe the 2 nascar cars are whats in his trailer, one of them has the dual guns like Roller from the G1 seies and they have a different look than te others AutoBots

The two Impalas pictured are the #48 Jimmy Johnson and #88 Dale Earnhardt Junior NASCAR Sprint Cup cars. I'm not sure what they're planning, but there may be a scene at a NASCAR speedway where those two cars get hit by the Allspark or are in disguise as Sprint Cup cars.

~All I will say is... Holy Sh**t O.O whoz the nasscar?? why is sideswipe convertable? why is bees stripes different?? where is jolt, ratchet, skids & mudflap, & arcee sisters?? What is Megatron gonna look like?? Will Ravage be back cuz he came back in tales of the fallen, where the hell is Barricade?? Will Bee talk?? Who are the new Decepticons? Shockwave is 1 of them, will Soundwave come down to earth? another blackout/grindor cepticon? Will Simmons be back?? Will Unicron be in it? what about Thundercracker?? & Starscream, hez my most favorite, these r many of my questions to ask~

I think Hotrod is the red car, since he WAS red in the cartoon series... but yeah these cars look pretty sweet, the nascar ones are pimped out like crazy lol.

I'm thinkin that the red car might be Cliffjumper(BumbleBee's Brother), The car with 48 on it might be WheelJack, and the other racer might just be Mirage. Or Red car is Hotrod, 48 is Kup and and racer is Blurr. Maybe, maybe not. I guess we'll just have to wait and see, but I am glad to see the trailer on Optimus Prime FINALLY. The movie might actually be good. But I'm not counting on it. What do you guys think? ( Other than this movie will suck.)

If thats WheelJack, maybe just maybe we'll get to see some Dinobot action goodness. Dinobots vs New and improoved Devastator? That would be kickass (even if it doesn't happen) It will in my twisted head, And thats the best movie theater of all. Wah ha ha Wah ha ha haha!!!!!!

Since I'm a huge NASCAR fan the Jimmy johnson and earnhart cars have me excited.'but the movie will still suck. But maybe I can buy some new die cast cars for my Collection.

For real...let's get this last Bay Junk Fest over with so the guys that made "War for Cybertron" can get in there and make some actual Transformers Movies...the games cut scenes are better than anything in the movies...
