Starting with Deadline, news has traveled quickly that the main attraction, Megan Fox, will NOT return to the third installment of Transformers.

UPDATE: From PEOPLE...

“Megan Fox will not be starring in Transformers 3," reps for the actress, 24, tell PEOPLE. "It was her decision not to return. She wishes the franchise the best.”


It was "ultimately" director Michael Bay's decision. Right now Bay and writer Ehren Kruger et al are finishing up the script for the threequel and "giving Shia a new love interest makes more sense for the story," an insider tells me. Bay will start casting immediately for the new female co-star.




Obviously this could be Bay's revenge on Fox's remark of comparing him to "Hitler". And A shocker to the world and Deadline, bring up a warning from Bay to Megan Fox of the things involving the third film.



DCMF: Oddly, I just saw TROTF for the first time the other day, and I was really happy with the way it turned out, unlike a lot of other people. And I liked Megan's performances, and thought she really brought the sex appeal. This really saddens me, but thats the way the cookie crumbles when you open your mouth...or something like.

I found out about this 45 minutes ago and I was just waiting for the shitstorm to begin on here lol

Well I dont really care if she is in it or not, I was just amazed to find out that the Pokemon animated series is still going & Megan Fox played a role in it for a few episodes this year lol

did they try give Shia a new love intresting in Transformers 2 and she was a terminator rip off LOL.

but remember did they say the Twins aint coming back in Transformers 3 but we see some pics of them. if Megan Fox aint actually coming back well it will teach her dont compare people with "Hitler". she really needs to learn how to act asap cause she wont last long in Hollywood.

megan fox is hot, there is no argument there. However, she is not much of an actress. In her interviews she sounds stupid, very stupid. The first Transformers movie was awesome. The second was not.
The twin robots were really annoying. The extra college guy was also really annoying. Megan Fox was really needy in the 2nd movie, quite a departure from her role in the 1st.
The action scenes were good, but the movie was greatly lacking

Ah, the movies arent that bad - they may be empty headed nonsense but they're still good fun. I think some people take them too seriously instead of just enjoying them for what they are! Cant say I'll miss Megan Fox in all honesty though..!

I guess Patrick Dempsey will also get fired because he was supposed to play her boss in the film. Haha...just kidding...But yeah I don't think we need another love interest for Sam...just focus on the big a$$ robots!
