It was recently announced that Adult Swim had commissioned an additional 70 episodes of Rick and Morty, but since then we haven't had any solid updates on the upcoming fourth season.

Now, the show's official Twitter page has shared a new teaser promo, and while it's only 15 seconds long, it does feature the titular duo re-imagined as anime-style superheroes. Eagle-eyed fans will also spot some far more formidable-looking incarnations of Summer, Beth, Squanchy, Snowball, Armothy and the Cromulons.

We still don't have a premiere date for Rick and Morty season 4, but creators Dan Harmon and Justin Roiland have promised that an announcement is imminet.
