It has been nearly a decade since Rick Grimes Daryl Dixon and his acquaintences have begun their journey through the zombie apocalypse, managing to defeat hordes of both the dead and the living, bringing our heroes closer together.

Surviving increasingly deadly threats from outside and within such as Shane, The Governor, and even Negan would lead one to believe that the survivors can handle anything thrown at them. However, if a new tweet from The Walking Dead's official Twitter account is any indication, there may only be worse to come.

Game Of Thrones fans will be very familiar with the reference in the Tweet below, which depicts the infamous Walder Frey (David Bradley) from one of the deadliest episodes of the HBO drama series, "The Red Wedding".
If you aren't familiar with the reference, this episode of Game Of Thrones saw multiple main characters slain in very bloody, unexpected ways (unless you read the books). For people familiar with the direction that The Walking Dead is headed based off of this storyline in the comics, you'll probably be aware that the upcoming fair is not going to be a particularly pleasant day out for some of the main characters.

The Walking Dead is an American post-apocalyptic survival series featuring a large ensemble cast of survivors of the zombie apocalypse, trying to stay alive from the near-constant threat of attacks from the mindless zombies, colloqially known as walkers. However, with the fall of humanity these survivors also face conflict from other living survivors who have formed groups and communities with their own sets of laws and morals, often leading to hostile conflict between the human communities.

The Walking Dead airs on AMC on Sunday nights at 9.

It's been an excellent season thus far .. I'm sure they will close it out just as good.

Going to be very interesting to say the least

I'm still watching but here's the 2 things that has diminished the show to me.
1) Killed off too many beloved characters and don't feel the same about the newer people.
2) Everyone is spread out among 3 settlements. You barely see some people anymore and when you do there is multiple episode gaps in between. I liked when everyone was together and week in and week out. The attachment isn't there anymore.

After losing Glenn, Abraham, Sasha, Carl, Morgan, Rick, Maggie and soon Michonne and Enid in the span of just three years, we really can't afford to lose anymore major characters.

I know for a fact that the show are preparing to kill off Rosita, Enid and Ezekiel in the Season Finale and I'm really not ready for it. They're three of the few decent characters left on the show and then who's left?

Daryl, Carol, Tara, Eugene, Gabriel and Aaron - eugh.
