At the end of Arrow's fifth season, we learned that Slade Wilson is back in his right mind and a willing ally to Oliver Queen once again. While his fate was left unknown in the closing moments of the season five finale, Stephen Amell has confirmed at a recent convention appearance (via CBR) that Manu Bennett will indeed be returning as a regular cast member in the show's upcoming sixth season.
"I can report that Manu Bennett is back to being a part of the show, and I think we will see him multiple times this year, which is awesome," he confirmed, delivering news which is a) exciting for fans of The CW series and b) casts some doubt on whether or not we'll see Deathstroke in The Batman.
That wasn't the only interesting new detail dropped by Amell at the event as he teased that, "we have somebody returning to the show this year that we have not seen since season one." It's hard to say who that could be, but the actor also mentioned that we'll see Oliver Queen in some new accommodation and that the flashbacks will continue with a focus on the histories of other characters.
Arrow will return to The CW on October 12th. What do you guys think of these latest details?
