ARROW, SUPERGIRL, FLASH Crossover Upgraded From Never To Unlikley

ARROW, SUPERGIRL, FLASH Crossover Upgraded From Never To Unlikley

While showrunner Greg Berlanti has always been optimistic about his DC Comics superhero shows crossing over, CBS has always staunchly denied the possibility. Perhaps the network is loosening up?

The DCTV universe over at The CW is definitely expanding.  Between Arrow, The Flash and DC's Legends of Tomorrow there are 30+ (and counting) superheroes operating in some form or fashion  on The CW.  It seems like a no-brainer that Supergirl would want to benefit from such a developed TV universe but CBS seems hesitant.  However, a possible indication that they're warming up to the idea was the reveal at yesterday's TCA panel that the shows will have "crossover promotions".

By promotions, perhaps they mean that Supergirl could appear in the Super Hero Fight Club promotions should The CW choose to do that again for the new season? We'll have to wait and see but the majority of the fanbase for all these shows definitely want to see them  crossover.  Again, when Supergirl was first announced showrunner Greg Berlanti was the first to comment that the Arrow, Flash and Supergirl could crossover.  CBS quickly disuaded such a notion but perhaps Berlanti is swaying minds behind the scenes?

Supergirl premieres Monday, Oct. 26 at 8:30 p.m. ET on CBS.  The CW will premire Arrow on Oct. 7th at 8PM and The Flash on October 6th at 8PM.

I just want Flash & Supergirl to crossover for 2 episodes and in those 2 episodes, they are based on the Race Around The World where we have Supergirl & Flash have a race for charity. Kind of like that episode of STAS but have Supergirl instead of Superman.

Is it just me or can literally anything happen now that the Flash can cross dimensions? Hell, continuity isn't even an issue anymore. If they really want to, Gustin's Flash can be a character in the freaking MCU based on this conceit.

They'll do crossovers for sure. CBS owns 50% of CW. It'll be nothing but beneficial for them.

It's a no-brainer, CBS. You partly own the CW anyway, so what are you waiting for? This can only raise the ratings.

There's been no establishmention of superman's existence in the works of arrow or Flash. No allusion eve. I though WB wasn't allowing the use of metropolis and gotham for the tv shows. I know they denied that right from the CW. Does CBS have that privilege though??

But what if Arrow or Flash tell her they don't need an "alien's" help and let the "humans" take care of it. She then is going to fly home and cry about it until her sister comes to her house and tells her she is "alien" hear her roar. Then she returns and all the "humans" completely change their mind about her telling her to go save the day. Cue that terrible Roar song by Katy Perry.

Tom Hardy Reportedly Producing & Starring In 100 Bullets Film
Andrew Steinbeiser- 08/11/20151 comments

Tom Hardy is going from breaking backs to blasting bullets.

That’s because Hardy will reportedly produce and possibly star in 100 Bullets, a film adaptation of Brian Azzarello and Eduardo Risso’s acclaimed Vertigo series. New Line Cinema, a subsidiary of Warner Bros. Entertainment, will develop the film. This would be New Line's first stab at a Vertigo film, after news broke this year that the studio would oversee all movies based on the DC Comics imprint.

The film is reportedly well into development, with a script by Chris Borrelli (The Vatican Tapes) already completed.

If they were to crossover then they would have to acknowledge Superman exists in the Arrow Universe, and seeing as how they are inexplicably not allowed to have Superman or Batman in the universe i would say it is never going to happen. This is unless of course WB/DC gets rid of their stupid embargo and embraces a fleshed out TV universe with no limitations

The only character I'm really interested in seeing Arrow crossover with, is Constantine.
