Is A Major Character On ARROW Going To Die?

Some cryptic tweets and episode titles seem to be pointing to the death of a major Arrow character. Is it Diggle (David Ramsey)? Or Merlyn (John Barrowman). Thea (Willa Holland)? Or perhaps someone else?

While filming Arrow season 3 episode 19, "Broken Arrow" Oliver queen actor Stephen Amell and Roy Harper actor Colton Haynes shared via twitter that they had just finished filming a" very emotional scene" and that it was a "tough goodbye."  This particular episode airs in April and is directed by Doug Aarniokoski from a script penned by Ben Sokolowski and Brian Ford Sullivan.  The very next episode is titled "The Fallen" and is directed by Antonie Negret with scipting duties handled by Wendy Mericle and Oscar Balderrama.  All evidence seems to indicated that someone that Haynes and Amell have shared a lot of scenes with is saying goodbye, possibly for good.  Adding a bit of fule to the fire is the fact that David Ramsey shared a behind-the-scenes pic on Instagram with the caption "Long Live....TEAM ARROW!." Is the person saying goodbye, someone in this photo?  We may get more definite clues when Arrow season 3 returns from mid-season hiatus on March 18th at 8PM on The CW.

Ok, but, Diggle and Felicity are both characters in the comic book....and it isn't going to be Roy....so....!?

They're not going to kill Diggle this season because H.I.V.E. is going to be the "main villain" of season 4.
Maybe it's Roy joining Teen Titans?

Diggle dying is a logical progression. The world has outgrown him And it gives something for Oliver to deal with.

It'll be Merlin.
This will cause Thea to become a SuperHeroine.
Diggle is too popular to kill and he is the best character on the show.
A shoutout to Felicity for being beautiful.

I thought that is was going to be Detective Lance or Diggle, but after thinking about it, it could easily be Roy, and he could be replaced with Thea. I hope it's not Diggle tho.

It's Detective Lance, Roy, Merlin, or Diggle's Wife.

My vote is Diggle's wife or Detective Lance because Diggle's Wife dying would probably make an interesting story for Diggle and Lance dying might spur Laurel into becoming more like Black Canary.

- Oliver is obviously safe
- I doubt they'd kill off Diggle as he's so popular - also he's the only black guy on the show lol
- Roy's still got a long way to go - But I would love to see the Clone story be done, perhaps by Slade
- THEY KILL OFF FELICITY I SHALL RIOT
- I would love for Laurel to be killed off but I can't see it happening
- Merlyn....Maybe.
- I doubt Thea will die - I think she'll eventually become Chesire

So all that's left is...Detective Lance. Ol' Quentin.

Kreisberg posted on a forum that Captain Lance and Laurel are still fighting in episode 21, so it's not him. It's either Roy or Malcolm. They aren't going to kill Felicity, the only minority character Diggle, or The a after she just had a mask made (Twitter photo).

This show has run out of steam. Peaked with Slade last year. The Demon‘s Head has been a huge waste and I am sick of seeing Barrowman‘s shit eating smile. Oliver seems to be drifting further from his comic book counterpart that I am beginning to lose interest.

Grodd better show up soon and inject some serious monkey balls into Roy‘s shitty face or I am gonna start watching Two Broke Girls instead.

Also, [frick] Josh the tree hugging [foo foo].

I'm seriously thinking it'll be Malcolm. And in his death he'll get redemption from his crimes. Also, as someone else posted, it'll make Thea join Team Arrow for real and be "Speedy"

SuperPickle - 3/7/2015, 7:46 AM
And if it is Malcolm, it'll be sad because Barrowman is great. I love what he brings to the show.

I think Diggle should die, he's been really static lately, not much going on with his character.

It's not a question anymore.
Mark Guggenheim was asked to say 3 words about the upcoming episodes, his answer was:
"1)Someone 2)Will 3)Die"

it will be Felicity or Malcom....I read a spolier somewhere stating that Felicity will get hurt and Oliver will blame Ray Palmer...
