WATCH: 'Katana' Makes Her Small Screen Debut In Action-Packed Clip From Last Week's ARROW

The penultimate episode of Arrow saw Rila Fukushima (The Wolverine) suit up as Katana to head into battle against the League of Assassins. That led to an awesome sequence which the Suicide Squad version will need to do a lot to beat! Needless to say, there are MAJOR SPOILERS ahead...

The Suicide Squad won't be appearing in Arrow again because of the 2016 movie, and you have to imagine that Katana's time in The CW series is also limited. At least we got to see Rila Fukushima's Tatsu suited up on the small screen once though, as the character fought alongside "Team Arrow" in a battle against the League of Assassins in the episode from earlier this week. "This Is Your Sword" - Oliver/Al Sah-him (Stephen Amell) finishes his training and is left with two final tasks to become the next Ra’s al Ghul. Ra’s (guest star Matt Nable) threatens Nyssa (guest star Katrina Law) and delivers some shocking news. Meanwhile, Malcolm (John Barrowman) makes a surprising offer to Team Arrow and Thea (Willa Holland) goes to see Roy (Colton Haynes). Wendey Stanzler directed the episode with story by Erik Oleson and teleplay by Ben Sokolowski & Brian Ford Sullivan.

I think Masao shouldn't have added the "from my prison" bit to the end of his last sentence. Sounded pretty shit. Would've been better if he'd just said, "Thank you for releasing me..." *dies*.

I think that's the problem with the writers of Arrow now, they over write.

Sometimes simplicity is what is needed in writing.

Saying something and letting the audiance fill in what the person meant is true story telling.

I've really disliked the second half of Season 3, but this was one of my favourite sequences I've seen in a long time on the show. Yeah it's cheesy, but finally getting to see Katana steal the spotlight made it worth it. The showrunners missed a trick by choosing to focus more on Maseo instead.

That said, Arrow really needs a change in formula for Season 4. Something went wrong this year :/

So every single one of these League Of Assassins has a bow and arrow, yet none of them use it? Seriously? They all just poke up from the ground where they should have been clearly visible to everybody and then run around like headless chickens or stand still so they get gunned down. :L

I mean the cinematography has always been an issue with Arrow along with the weak plotline and unlikeable characters doing silly things, but its never been this bad before.

I mean one of them talks loudly about their plan while the other cant spot an assassin running straight at them? The heck?

@pesmerga44 yeah, I wish The Atom was more like his comic book counter part. I always thought that he was an interesting character.

I don't watch the show but people have said that they have alluded to Atom is getting his shrinking powers sometime in the future. Personally I just never liked the idea of having him be a hero without his powers at all. If they wanted a Iron Man type character then get one of the suit based heroes in DC repertoire. S.T.R.I.P.E. and Rocket Red have both been Leaguers and would have been perfectly fine to put in the show.

God, the inconsistency of this show. 2 episodes ago, Laurel couldn't even take down ONE random criminal from the streets. Here she's taking down 3 Assassins.
