Entertainment Weekly has shed some light on the upcoming Arrowverse crossover "Elseworlds," and they were lucky enough to witness a scene being shot at Arkham Asylum in Gotham City. In that, Ruby Rose's Batwoman was shown hanging out alongside Cisco Ramon, Barry Allen decked out as the Green Arrow, and Oliver Queen suited up as the Flash.
"It’s a strange feeling to put on a suit like this that has been custom made for you knowing that it’s going to transform you into a character that does amazing things," Rose says when asked what it's been like to play the iconic hero. "You feel very empowered and it just instantly changes everything you feel in that moment."
The site goes on to reveal that Batwoman will be introduced in Arrow and Oliver, Barry, and Supergirl have travelled to Gotham City to find Arkham Asylum doctor John Deegan who they reveal will be played by Lost's Jeremy Davies. In the scene mentioned above, Batwoman uses her grapple hook and Batarang to stop two inmates attempting to escape from the facility.
"Kate does not want to deal with this. She has a whole other agenda, a whole other life that she’s trying to sort out right now, and these frigging superheroes come in and they’re a mess, and they need her help," adds Rose.
