I hate that shows keep taking random month long hiatuses around this time. It's like if they finish before May they're dishonoring their ancestors or something.

I like the show, but I have a few problems.
Next season Ben Mckenzie has got to be a little more charismatic and hard nosed as Jim Gordon. He's fine for the most part but-its weird I like Bullock's character more than his at the moment.

Fish either needs to become interesting or someone needs to blast her brains out because in most ways she is annoying as (fill in the Blank).

I also like Selina but they don't give the poor girl enough to do/say half the time. They need to make her more unpredictable-the way she is in comics.

I like Penguin, Electocutioner, Nigma, Jerome, and Falcone..is just ok. Kid that plays Bruce is fantastic. Alfred is ok I guess.... and everything else about the show is ok.

I wonder will Ms. Kringle be Harley Quinn?
Is Jerome our new Joker..or has is Penguin actually Joker?

Gordon is strange to see because he's always serious and then, when he jokes or has fun it's kinda weird.But that's real because that's how serious people are.With time he becomes more cynic i think.But not in a negative way.
Bullock is awesome.I really like Bullock.He's like Deadpool or Harley.You can't not like him.
I think Fish will be killed by Penguin late on.I mean that's why they named her Fish, for Penguin.Penguins eat fish.I don't like her too much either.But WTF did she do on the last episode.Nobody saw that coming!
Selina is fine i think.She's growing to become that bitch she will be.
Bruce is fantastically written on the show i think.You really see him grow!He's that clumsy,little,scared kid that tries to figure out the world.
Penguin and Nygma are really great i think.Penguin has to work really hard and you see him struggle to succeed.Nygma takes a lot of shit.I'm curious to see how he'll turn into villain.Also now he's not as smart as he will be.Alfred i think is great.Jerome is definitely Joker.No matter how much they'll tease us he's J.I also like Barbara.You really feel for her.

I find it more likely that she is a re-worked version of Enigma, who is actually Riddler's daughter in the comics, so she probably be re-imagined as a more Harley Quinn-like figure for Riddler.

@Malakas I kinda like Barbara but same with her shes more like a 2 minutes worth of lines type character. I expect more than I should with this show admittedly lol. Yeah I cannot wait to see Ed turn into Riddler. LOL Fish sure did surprise me and kinda grossed me out quite honestly. I'm sure we'll see Crane later on down the line..........I agree Bruce's characterization is exactly how I would imagine Bruce Wayne's traits to be. Just wondering how all this is gonna end and what the future holds?

But i want to see ten seasons of Gotham and then i want it to turn into a Batman show.First season is Year One and Zero Year inspired.
But for that to happen it has to be really,really,really,really [frick]ing good.Awards and shit.And the rating has to be really high.We'll see.

I've really been enjoying this show, it's been getting so good! As others have said, the portrayal of Bruce Wayne has been really spot on. He truly has all of the qualities you'd expect from a young Batman, but at the same time he's still just a kid.
My gf really likes it too, she's actually been wanting to learn more about the Batman mythology because of it haha

Well, seeing as how this "promo" is all old footage, perhaps they need these six weeks because the last four episodes aren't done yet. Only reason I can think of as to why they would need ANOTHER break.

Interesting to note that AMC doesn't give a damn about March Madness with The Walking Dead, nor does ABC give a damn about it with Agents of SHIELD, so I highly doubt that Fox does with Gotham. Besides, the only date that conflicts is the final game on 4/6 (Gotham would finish the week before if they just aired the last four episodes now). Also not buying that they're trying to stretch it out until closer to Memorial Day. Plenty of shows end well before that, so Gotham could as well, but none of it explains why there's no new footage for the next episode. It's possible they want to keep it secret, but they have been showing new footage throughout the season, so why not show something now to entice people back after the six-week hiatus? Still seems far more likely that they just need the time to work on it.
