GOTHAM Season 4 Promo Banners Continue To Tease Bruce Wayne's Final Journey Towards Becoming Batman

We recently got our first look at Bruce Wayne donning a proto-Batman outfit in a season 4 teaser for Gotham, and that same divisive costume is spotlighted in one of these new promotional banners for the show.

The other also features Jim Gordon, and a not-so-subtle nod to Bruce's inevitable ascension into The Dark Knight.

Gotham has always taken massive liberties with established Batman lore, but many fans seem to have accepted it as its own thing and are still happy to go along for the ride. Others... not so much.

Where do you stand? Check out the banners below (click HERE for larger versions), and let us know in the usual place.

Just stop with this show. The whole point of it was to see these characters before they were the characters we know but basically every person has been their fully formed comic selves from the beginning ruining the entire premise of the show. All these villains will have existed for a decade before Batman which ruins the whole dynamic of him actually having made crime worse after taking down organized crime in Gotham, and i really dont want so see some skinny 14 years old dressed like a gimp running around jumping of rooftops. Finish this out and give us a real Gotham Central HBO show

@Ha1frican - But there are still plenty of villains that haven't been on the show yet like Bane, Two-Face, Killer Croc ect.

@Nightwing1015 - With the exception of Croc those are characters whos very existence are tied to he appearance of the Batman so why would you have them in a show where he doesnt yet exist, and if you would then why does this show exist at all and not Gotham Central which exists in a world where these characters are already established?

@Ha1frican - Because most Batman villains have interesting origins that have never been explored in live-action. This show's Joker, Penguin and Riddler are some of the best adaptations of the characters.

@Chameleon - yes. It has moments of greatness. And laugh out loud insanity.

@noahthegrand - To me, it has the same dark, sometimes campy tone of the Burton Bat-flicks. I also love that Bruce is slowly making his way towards becoming Batman. And that Joker is fantastic! Part Hamil, part Ledger yet also a bit original.
