ROGUE ONE Actor Alan Tudyk Will Voice The Joker In DC Universe HARLEY QUINN Animated Series

We already knew Alan Tudyk (Rogue One, Serenity) would play a role in the DC Universe Harley Quinn animated series, but it's now been revealed that he'll actually be voicing The Clown Prince of Crime...

When the first trailer for DC Universe's upcoming Harley Quinn animated series was released last month, the accompanying press release named Rogue One: A Star Wars Story actor Alan Tudyk as a member of the voice cast, and now we know who he'll be playing.

While chatting to Discussing Film, Batman: The Brave and the Bold's Diedrich Bader - who will reprise the role of The Caped Crusader for this show - mentions that Tudyk will be providing the voice of The Joker, and Chris Meloni (Happy) will play a "somewhat different" take on Jim Gordon.

We also know that Big Bang Theory alum Kaley Cuoco will voice Harley, but the characters Lake Bell, Ron Funches, JB Smoove, Jason Alexander, Wanda Sykes, Giancarlo Esposito, Natalie Morales, Jim Rash and Tony Hale are playing renain a mystery for now.

The adult animated action-comedy follows Harley as she breaks things off with the Joker and attempts to make it on her own as the criminal "queenpin" of Gotham City. The comedy will also feature Poison Ivy and a cast of heroes and villains — old and new — from the DC universe.

His Alpha from Doll House showed me that he had the chops for a live action turn as the Joker IMO.

@Roodi - thank you! I've been saying that ever since I saw him in that. The scene where he's in a suit with a bomb in particular is like classic Joker. I wish wb would've cast him instead, he'd be [frick]ing phenomenal

Ever since I saw him on the show Dollhouse, I've wanted him to be cast as the Joker. He would knock it out of the park (like he does with every role). I guess I'll have to settle for him playing the animated Joker.

All the voice cast is great except kaley cuoco , all I can hear when she talks is kaley cuoco. I assume instead casting someone who could pull off that iconic voice which every version of the character has used they chose to get a Name. Someone they could sell the show off of instead of someone who's right for the role. But that's just a guess.
