"Will The Real Miss Tessmacher Please Stand Up?" - (8:00-9:00 p.m. ET) (TV-PG, V) (HDTV)

MISS TESSMACHER RETURNS WITH A VENGEANCE - Kara (Melissa Benoist) and Lena (Katie McGrath) head to Kaznia to hunt down Lex. However, Eve Tessmacher (guest star Andrea Brooks) sets a trap for the duo that could ultimately reveal that Kara is Supergirl. Meanwhile, Alex (Chyler Leigh) gets a long-awaited phone call, James (Mehcad Brooks) practices using his powers, and Ben Lockwood (Sam Witwer) takes a dangerous stand inside the DEO. Shannon Kohli directed the episode with story by Derek Simon and teleplay by Katie Rose Rogers & Natalie Abrams (#420). Original airdate 5/5/2019.

Season three saw Supergirl stop Reign and the other Worldkillers’ threat to humanity and our planet, and in the process, Kara was shocked to find her mother Alura alive and living in a salvaged Argo City that survived the destruction of Krypton. Reconnecting with her past caused Kara to realize that her true home is now here on Earth, where big changes are taking place for her and all of her friends in National City – and also, it appears, for a doppelganger in Russia! Season four promises to be full of surprises, action, adventure and lots of big revelations for Supergirl, Alex, James, J’onn, Lena and Brainy.

Supergirl features:
Melissa Benoist as Kara Zor-El/Supergirl
Mehcad Brooks as James 'Jimmy' Olsen/Guardian
Chyler Leigh as Alexandra 'Alex' Danvers
Jeremy Jordan as Winslow 'Winn' Schott
David Harewood as J'onn J'onzz/Martian Manhunter
Katie McGrath as Lena Luthor
Jesse Rath as Querl Dox/Brainiac 5
Sam Witwer as Ben Lockwood/Agent Liberty
Nicole Maines as Nia Nal/Dreamer
April Parker Jones as Colonel Haley
David Ajala as Manchester Black
Azie Tesfai as Kelly Olsen
Erica Durance as Alura Zor-El

Good episode. The only thing I didn't bought was how Lena decided to bent out her own frustrations on Kara saying she hadn't been a good friend lately and was just using her to pursue a story. Felt a lot forced, but at least Brainiac 5 set her straight later.

She sure looked happy when she was told Jimmy was going to be okay.

Mehcad Brooks and Azie Tesfai delivered on Jimmy and Kelly's memories trip, the pay off to that with Jimmy levitating. Liked the set they put for the Daily Planet too.

I swear that they must be building up AmerTek for some reason for the next story in Season 5, hopefully to introduce John Henry Irons aka Steel. Ever since the flashback episode of Lex and Red Daughter they've been making references and allusions towards AmerTek nonstop. Must lead somewhere.

Nia was the MVP here from her scenes scenes with Brainy (that hologram lmao) and Kara to kicking as as Dreamer, I'm enjoying how they use her powers: sometimes for blasts and others to manipulate her astral energy to make them take up shape. The combo with the astral shockwave and then whip + electricity? Awesome.

Brainy should just confess already too.

Enjoyed the battle at CatCo, Brainia team up and Lockwood finding out Jimmy now has powers and isn't afraid anymore to show them.

And so hate begets more hate, that last scene was dark. Lockwood will no longer hold back. But his son is starting to drift away so maybe he won't get caught in the cross fire.

And J'onn's scene at the end was cool, missed him.
