@bobbo68 - season 1 was good. I didn't watch after though. I'll be restarting it soon though since it did get renewed.

some places are reporting they might need to cut some cast members.

Who could it be. Superman and Lois is one of the few shows that actually uses it's large cast to their full potential.

Could see Chrissie being written out

not sure you can really write out Lana at this point, considering she is mayor and her family's connection to the Kents

on the Irons family.......you could maybe write them out, seems everything hinted at with john henry in season 1 has now been paid off (although that could stir up some old bs drama from the show's beginning), if they want to keep 1, keep john henry. Have Natalie go to college early (she is a genious)

could reduce Sam's role maybe

Season 4 huh? Is this the one where everyone starts to hate it? That's usually how it goes with these arrowverse shows.

(Except for Legends of Tomorrow. That aged like fine wine)

@ObserverIO - supergirl season 4 is actually its best season (and weirdly also when they brought lex in)

@dracula - That was season 4? If it's the one I'm thinking of with the Red Daughter and that massive finale then yes that was really good.

@ObserverIO - It'll most likely be the last so the writers can at least plan out how it ends properly.

@RockReigns - Quick heads up that I moved this to the homepage!

I would suggest going over the content and quality guidelines and make sure your familiar with how property names/titles are to be handled in the summaries and body/content.

I would also strongly suggest going through your post with a fine tooth comb to remove/reword obvious AI generated content... it has a habit of repeating things unnecessarily and adding promotional language/wording that isn't needed ("exciting crossovers" "beloved DC characters", etc.).

It's usually a much better read when a post sticks to the facts and doesn't include opinions.

@NateBest - agreed, this is a good scoop, but unfortunately much of the article is clearly AI generated

Would love to the last season of this to loosely semi-adapt all star superman but without the zany silver age stuff, basically superman dealign with a terminal desease.
Also the end its rigth there to Jon to take the mantle

I'm really glad to see that this show was renewed, especially because we know this season will end on a cliffhanger. And this is the best iteration of Superman and the best comic book show on TV for the past few years. Seems like the upcoming season might be the last, which on the one hand I'm glad they will go out on their own terms, but on the other I've always hoped this show would get to 5 seasons. Maybe it can live on after.

But I do kind of hope that the next season is stronger than this current one. I'm not saying its a bad season, it is a good one, but its a big step down from the excellence of seasons 1 and 2. I think the problem is that the story has focused too much on drama and Lois this season, and Superman and the action has taken a huge backseat as a result. In prior seasons, everything felt really well balanced (and there were some big Lois centric arcs in the prior seasons, especially s2).

I can imagine Lex wrongfully imprisoned for 17 years, released from prison as the man announcing his candidacy. An "innocent" Lex who will fight injustices as president of the United States.

The last two seasons of LoT were awful. There's a reason why it was cancelled.
