After resurrecting Killer Frost (Danielle Panabaker), The Flash is celebrating Thanksgiving next week and while it may be a little later than expected, it still looks plenty exciting as Nora (Jessica Parker Kennedy) finds herself struggling with unresolved anger over her father's (Grant Gustin) mysterious disappearance in the future. The preview also teases a showdown with an unseen foe that leaves Barry down for the count.

Meanwhile, the episode will also feature the return of the Weather Wizard (Liam McIntyre), who hasn't been seen since season two, but it doesn't look to be a good hour for him as he finds himself a wanted man when his own daughter, the Weather Witch (Reina Hardesty) arrives at S.T.A.R. Labs to kill him.

Matching wits with The Thinker, who by season’s end had harnessed the powers of all twelve bus metas he created, stretched Team Flash to their limits, but with the help of some new allies, Barry Allen (aka The Flash) and company were able to put a stop to the Enlightenment and save Central City once again. Jumped off this ship somewhere in season 4. Haven't given this show a second thought till I see this article and low and behold, the ship is still burning-

Season 5 has been horrible the characters and plot are so bad... Arrow is so enjoyable at the moment, great storyline and acting.

@Brifo - the writing is so baaad. It's like they're writing this shit on the fly. And the dialogue is so cringe.

Agreed, Arrow has been much stronger this season. The hacking/tech parts are as unbelievable as they come, and the future plot feels poorly performed, but the present storyline is far better than anything Flash has been doing for the last couple of seasons.

Even though you can feel the twist reveal coming regarding Thomas the episode still delivered some surprises, one wtf moment when Cisco came charging saying he was not her real father but all tied up in the end throughout the 3 storylines.

What started as a good intetion from Thomas to heal Caitlin's ALS and preventing it from happening to her just like it did to him it also "cursed" her with the creation of Killer Frost and same with him as Icicle. Thomas' on a tight situation no matter from where you look at it: if his evil, and mostly in control, alter ego got the cure Caitlin prepared then he'd be fully gone and Icicle would reign but I am also pretty sure that he needs Icicle in order to hold back his ALS, if not his cryo-malignancy will return and crystallize his skin and rewrite his DNA and he would die.

Killer Frost's return here appeared to be more of a semblance instead of being some kind of double personality since she addressed everyone as her real family which was a running theme earlier of her closeness to her just returned dad compared to her bond with her friends. Considering she had become warmer (pun) towards KF and vice versa with those post stickers they left each other in S4 whereas Thomas lost himself to Icicle and they're even at odds with each other. I really wanted to see her chase after him like in S3 when he escaped, guess that'll be saved for another episode.

DeVoe using Brainstorm's powers at maximum to create a mental block in Caitlin's mind fitted like a ring in a finger and made sense considering he never did anything with her powers had he really swapped her and rewrite her DNA with Melting Point's powers. It's crazy how much of S4's aftershocks are still present in this Season, even Harry's mental activity dampener that he used to share with Jesse her mother's memories with her which now will help Caitlin tear down that block and become one with Killer Frost.

Speaking of S4 aftershocks they finally got around the source of Cicada's dagger: the core of their former satelite after Nora digged up with a vortex over the water. I am gonna guess it took that lightning bolt shape bent on it after 2 speedsters punched it with a supersonic punch. I dunno if Barry's apprehensiveness about having it near them considering it was coated with the dark matter of DeVoe's Enlightenment plus it being hit by basically Speed Force punches is forebonding.

Iris and Nora being on the same boat and close with each other finally was good. Sherloque killed two birds (their awkwardness at their first team up) with one
stone (faking not being useful so that they'd figure out where the satelite's core).

Ralph and Cecile's subplot was okay-ish, gotta fill in for Jesse L. Martin's absence and seeing someone not used to be the bad cop can be amusing. In universe reason of him spending time with baby Jenna outside makes sense. At least they got their results in the end and they know now who must be Cicada's daughter. (She appears to be more like adopted though)

Also when Thomas was saying who were his contacts back then he mentioned Elise Lincoln and Victor Fries. First one one of the evil titleholders of Killer Frost and the 2nd one obviously, Mr. Freeze. Another easter egg mention for Gotham before it appears in Elseworlds.

And that opening with Cicada was awesome, dude frequents Jitters or anywhere else with his dagger to detect metas and has learned that his open wound with the shrapnel with dark matter inside is making him stronger. Even his voice seemed to start changing, unless that was just him in pain through the process.

Next week looks better, just one more week before the 100th episode.
