TITANS Season 2 Finale Stills Give Us A Much Better Look At Dick Grayson As Nightwing

DC Universe recently unveiled an extended promo for the upcoming season 2 finale of Titans, and we now have a full batch of stills which provide our best look yet at Nightwing in action!

Most of the images focus on Dick Grayson sporting the comic-accurate outfit as he throws down with Deathstroke to protect his fellow heroes, but we also see the likes of Ravager, Bruce Wayne, Superboy, and Robin about to take a spin on his new motorcycle.

The recent promo made it pretty clear that we'll be losing one of the Titans in this episode, and there's a lot of speculation that it's going to be Jason Todd - although he does appear to be present at the funeral. That could be misdirection, or course.

Check out the promo images for "Nightwing" below along with a synopsis, and let us know what you think. Have you been enjoying season 2 of Titans so far?

The Titans reassemble under Dick, who has now fully taken on the mantle of Nightwing, to fight Deathstroke and attempt to save Jericho. But that’s not the only struggle they face – as the team finds themselves up against mind-altered versions of Gar and Conner, who are now supercharged weapons at the “mercy” of Mercy Graves (recurring guest star NATALIE GUMEDE) and her Cadmus final Phase Two plan. It’s Titans vs. Titans in the epic season two finale that’s filled with surprises.

Going off those Jason pics I'm guessing Raven is the one they're teasing to die? Which doesn't make a whole lot of sense because she hasn't been given her too much to do.

@GRAYSONEX - There really isn’t any characters that have been given enough to do on this show where they can have a satisfying death

After this season, The Titans must separate for a while and Dick has to become Bludhaven's protector.

Then, at the beginning of season 3, Nightwing faces Blockbuster in the city.

Starting to like a bit more the Nightwing suit, seeing him and Ravager team against Slade will be cool.

I liked the way they revealed the Jericho twist tbh and how even though he is inside of Slade's head he is now more of a prisoner as well as his father's twisted idea of a "gift" to him by killing the Titans.

But I got to say that showing those pics of Dick talking to Bruce, they back at their HQ and having dinner plus the images of Jason do only but narrow down the candidates for the fallen Titan to be either Raven or Beast Boy. I think it'll be him because of how much Cadmus has messed him up by turning him into their killing machine slave.

Beast Boy really deserved better in this Season than this in fact.

I’m still hung up on Old man Bruce, love the actor, hate the choice. If Bruce is this old, and Dicks already Middle aged Nightwing, although it’s nice to see Jason, it looks unlikely we’ll get Tim, although I could see them shoehorning in Damian

@MuadDib - I can definitely see them shoehorning Damien in there.

Either Hank or Donna are done for! Both have been underutilized. Hank has this redemption thing going on so it's probably Donna

I wonder if this is a Red Hood set up? Like if he actually has to die to become the Red Hood or can he just be gone for awhile and then show back up as the Red hood.

I'm sad that Donna will bit the dust. They used her so bad in this season and I really loved Leslie Connor as Donna.

I waited for a live action Nightwing for so long.
And i totally dig the costume, yo.

1) Nightwing looks awesome. Costume is comic accurate and on point. Crazy it took this long to get a live-action version

2) Donna is losing it. They'll justify her death with Aqualad's. Although that makes no sense and she deserves better

Yeah it’s looking like it’ll be Donna, which sucks because I really like Connor Leslie as her. Plus I feel like there’s still so much to have been done with her.

The suit could be a bit tighter in the butt area, but that Nightwing suit is so good.

All suits are great in this show, except Dove's one. The cape is to much, in comics she has only a few feathers under the armpit like Spider-Man's cobwebs.

I'd say its a pretty faithful adaptation to the source. However there's only one big problem I have with it and if no one else is gonna mention it then I guess I'll have to:

It has to be Beast Boy that doesn't make it - how else do you redeem him?

Mind[frick]ery aside, he still ate a bunch of mother[frick]ers.
