Netflix has released the first trailer for their upcoming superhero drama, iBoy. The premise may seen a bit silly (see the official synopsis below), but this actually looks like it might be pretty good. Plus, it boasts quite a cast.

The movie stars Maisie Williams (Game of Thrones, hopefully New Mutants), as well the great Miranda Richardson (Harry Potter) and Rory Kinnear (Penny Dreadful) as the villain. You may also recognize the actor who plays iBoy himself, Bill Milner, as the young Magneto from X-Men: First Class.

Check out the trailer below and let us know what you make of it.

“iBoy” follows Tom (Bill Milner), an average teenager whose world is turned on its head when a violent encounter with local thugs leaves fragments of his shattered smartphone embedded in his brain. He wakes from a coma to discover that returning to normal teenage life is impossible because he has developed a strange set of superpowers. With these new powers he sets out to seek revenge on the gang, who also assaulted his best friend Lucy [Maisie Williams].”

iBoy arrives on Netflix on January 27.

on the zergnet shit at the side of the screen it says "rogue one ending explained" and i was like, huh?

and then i remembered how it ended, and if you haven't seen the original star wars then you would probably feel cheated.

ugh, this is exactly what i DIDNT want when disney bought star wars. tie-ins and soulless action with too much reliance on the originals. [frick] r1.
