As season three begins, the Lannisters hold absolute dominion over King's Landing after repelling Stannis Baratheon's forces. Yet Robb Stark, King in the North, still controls much of the South as well, and has yet to lose a battle. In the Far North, Mance Rayder has united the wildlings into the largest army Westeros has ever seen. Only the Night's Watch stands between him and the Seven Kingdoms, but nobody knows what happened to its Lord Commander and the force he led beyond the Wall. Across the Narrow Sea, Daenerys Targaryen - reunited with her three growing dragons - ventures into Slaver's Bay in search of ships to take her home and allies to conquer it.

@mk I'm fairly sure Ramsay was in the last episode, if you know where to look for him.

@SpiderMoe7
Yes,
HOWEVER...
Season 1 & 2 were based off of books 1 & 2;
Season 3 is based on HALF of season 3 (and a little of future books) so it makes sense [to me] that everything would be a bit slower especially considering how many arcs are running, and how many more characters are headlining.
It is a bit less impressive considering how spoiled we've been thus far with such immaculate episodes in times past, but I am content with the faith that things will pick up and it'll all be so, so sweet.
~Never read the books, but right about now, I really want to~

Melisandre interacting with Beric and Thoros...interesting. I don't recall them ever meeting in the books. I'm intrigued by this change.
