New WESTWORLD Season 2 Trailer Contains Code To Secret Video Unearthing More Disturbing Revelations

Earlier today, the official trailer for season 2 of Westworld debuted, revealing a paradise that has devolved into mass chaos as the robotic hosts violently rise up and eliminate the human guests. There was already a lot going on in the exciting trailer, but some eagle-eyed fans found a very clever message hidden right in front of our eyes: a secret code! See the area circled in red below:

This code leads to a new viral website for Westworld, featuring a marketing video from Delos Incorporated. The video begins with a behind the scenes look at Westworld, featuring a pleasant message of how  the park is created to serve guests and make their dreams become a reality.

However, the message quickly begins to glitch and experience technical difficulties. As the video progresses, the glitches essentially lift the veil on the park and reveal some blink-and-you'll-miss-it disturbing imagery, including a new shot of the drone host and human bodies replacing wooden planks beneath railroad tracks. Check out the video below:

But wait, there is another secret message within the already secret video! At the end of the Delos advertisement, a lettered code appears on the screen: XOMEGACH. Entering this code on the official Delos website into a login box takes us to one more viral site that features a blue door; season 2 is referred to as The Door (season 1 was The Maze).

Clicking on the door takes us to an empty white virtual room with a 360-degree viewing tool. Panning around the room reveals yet another secret video! This video though only features some text and computer coding, addressed to Charlotte Hale (Tessa Thompson) with a simple message: Find Peter Abernathy

Peter Abernathy, Dolores' original father in season 1, was one of the first hosts to malfunction in the park. At the end of the season, Hale uploaded 35 years of data about Westworld (and presumably the other parks) into Abernathy's head in an effort to sidestep Robert Ford (Anthony Hopkins). It is clear that the whereabouts of Peter Abernathy, with his mental database, will play an important role in the season.

Secrets on secrets on secrets! That was quite the trail of hidden messages stemming from a single trailer. Be sure to let us know your thoughts on these new revelations and clever marketing in the usual spot below! Season 2 of Westworld premieres on April 22, 2018.
