AGATHA: DARKHOLD DIARIES Rumor Reveals What The World Has Been Told About "Westview Incident"

A new Agatha: Darkhold Diaries (Agatha All Along?) rumour claims to shed some light on what the world has been told about the Scarlet Witch's actions in Westview and what people are doing about it...

Agatha: Darkhold Diaries - or perhaps Agatha All Along - will arrive on Disney+ next year, and there's a lot of intrigue surrounding how the Disney+ series is going to deal with the fallout from WandaVision

In that series, the Scarlet Witch took control of the people in Westview, essentially torturing them so she could get a happy ending alongside The Vision and her make-believe children, Billy and Tommy. S.W.O.R.D. knows what happened, of course, but what will the rest of the world think about the Avenger's actions?

According to a rumour shared by @CanWeGetToast, the Westview incident has been covered up and dubbed an "Avengers Training Exercise." As a result, the general public is unaware of what Wanda Maximoff did, preserving her status as a superhero.

However, not everyone is buying it and there are a group of Redditors (or whatever the MCU's equivalent is) who come together to try and figure out what really happened...and some of them are said to be from Westview! That would explain why so many WandaVision characters are returning, anyway.

Very few official plot details have been revealed for Agatha, though we expect to see the series revolve around Agatha tracking down Billy Maximoff who, like his comic book counterpart, has been "reincarnated" as Billy Kaplan. Mephisto is also expected to appear, possibly played by Sacha Baron Cohen.

Various scoopers have claimed the story will primarily feature the descendants of Evanora Harkness' coven - now known as the Salem Seven - coming back to claim their revenge on the woman who killed their mothers. This investigation may well be what alerts them to Agatha's presence in the town.

Whether the witch is going to go from villain to anti-hero across the course of this series remains to be seen, though it seems likely. If nothing else, we're expecting the Disney+ series to set the stage for more mystical movies and TV shows, likely revolving around the mystical corner of the MCU.

Whatever happens, we're heading back to Westview because the show's supporting cast will feature several familiar faces from WandaVision, including Emma Caulfield Ford (Sarah Proctor), Debra Jo Rupp (Sharon Davis), David Payton (John Collins), David Lengel (Harold Proctor), Asif Ali (Abilash Tandon), Amos Glick (Dennis), Brian Brightman (Sheriff Miller), and Kate Forbes (Evanora Harkness).

Other additions include Aubrey Plaza, Joe Locke, Sasheer Zamata, Ali Ahn, Miles Gutierrez-Riley, Okwui Okpokwasili, and Maria Dizzia.

Agatha: Darkhold Diaries is currently expected to premiere on Disney+ sometime in 2024.

The title's a testament to how Agatha is such a nothing character, and is only sort of relevant cos of the song

So not only is the government not doing a thing to find Wanda, they're actively protecting her public image.

This is like something out of the boys, but without the realization that this is f@#$ed up.

@mountainman - probably.

Oh BTW, have you heard about American society of magical negros? It's a real movie coming out from focus feature and isn't a parody.

@Origame - I’ve heard the title but had zero interest to explore it further. I’m sure it’ll be well written and have non-agenda filled intelligent things to say.

@MarvelousMarty - It got like one line in that Wanda movie that happened to feature Doctor Strange. That's more than the aborted baby with it's head and arm daggling out of the earth.

This could easily be a big surprise when you consider the character has deep links with the Fantastic Four and the Avengers.

I do like that not everyone buys that and is trying to uncover what really happened , sounds like what would be the case in real life aswell.
