Agent Carter Season 2 Talk and Possible Winter Soldier Cameo

Arnim Zola's appearance was enough to have fans asking for more, but the producers of the show aren't so quick to jump to season 2. The details on brainwashing shows Bucky's transformation from Captain America's partner to his greatest enemy. This could lead to a possible cameo from Winter Soldier with them setting up his procedure so much. Nonetheless, Peggy's story can continue with great plot points and story lines. The producers of the show had this to say, "When we were figuring out the show and the backstory of the show, we had a really nice story about who Peggy is and where she came from. We just didn’t have any time. I would love to tell that story...That’s one of our strongest ideas for the second season: What makes Peggy, Peggy? We like what Peggy is, but if you ask some hard questions, you might wonder: but why is she that way? We have some thoughts on that." What does this mean? Could there be a season 2 with a Winter Soldier cameo? Time will only tell!

I told you the writers think Peggy is super powered. She gets hist with a bat full blast, twice and just breathes heavily as a result. No limping, nothing. lol!

@JredTheRed: That would have been a better shocker than Zola. That scene was interesting, not shocking. False advertising strikes again. lol.

@Luminus - I liked the Zola reveal....yea maybe not shocking...had I not known some sort of cameo was coming then maybe, but knowing, was kinda expecting something else. Still a great episode, great cameo, great show.

"...but the producers of the show aren't so quick to jump to season 2."

You f ucking what? and yet they gave Agents of SHIELD a second season before Whedons Janitor had finished writing the pilot.

Producers are idiots if they don't give Carter a second season, and continue to drag out AOS, all the while prick teasing fourth string west coast Avengers characters by the end of season. Ha!

I [frick]ing loved the first season....

I really hope this gets a second season and they delve into The Winter Soldier and what happened to Hydra after the Red Skull vanished.... Hopefully leading to the Red Skull returning for Civil War or one of the upcoming movies

This show blows away AOS.

I don't know why they wouldn't be able to have Winter Soldier cameo somehow. Just pay Sebastian Stan a couple of bucks to shoot a couple of scenes without the mask, and the rest of the time just use his stunt double from CA:TWS wearing the costume and mask - nobody would know the difference! Can't imagine it being that expensive having 1 or 2 Winter Soldier centric episodes in season 2...

Agent Carter though being a mini serie deserves a second season but i don't know why some of you justify it by comparing it to AOS.

Regardless of what you think is the better show, that isn't a valid criterion to justify its renwal.

Ratings are the only and legitimate criterion they will use to validate its renewal.

And in that game, AOS ratings have always been higher than Agent Carter.

The show went nowhere plot wise. Big Bad was played out to be this big organization in reality looked more like Two people. They destroyed the character once they made her start complaining about sexism. Considering how she is the only woman who is asked to get papers / coffee I don't consider that sexist at all when men in the show were asked to do the same when they were standing around with their thumb in their ass lol. She is the only woman in the SSR standing around not doing anything in the office. Other women are on the switchboard and being security guards. I don't recall seeing secretaries either. She comes off as a whiner. :P

@SigmaCenturion For me ep5 with the Howling Commando's was the weakest episode, and in the finale the Stark plane/radio scene was cringe inducing. They depict her as a badass every episode and all of a sudden she's sitting behind a radio station again in tears to someone in a plane, they went to painstaking detail to copy the exact scene of CA:TFA, WHY?

Overall, enjoyed it very much, particularly Jarvis and seeing a bit of Howard's world/mansion was v. cool. But cut the crap and stop injecting "Captain America" into every episode for no reason, fake drama.

I was thinking last night what happened with Tommy Lee Jones' character? In the TFA Peggy was working with him and she wasn't taking shit from people.

Luminus - 2/26/2015, 9:19 PM
@SigmaCenturion: Yep.

@PymParticle: I think they copied that CA: TFA scene as a homage to the film. Basically, "How can the same sh-- happen to the same guy twice?" 2 points to the person who gets what movie that quote comes from.
