According to ComicBook.com (who are running the story as an exclusive despite the fact that it appears to have been online since yesterday), Costa Ronin will play Anton Vanko in Agent Carter. Those of you with a good memory may remember meeting him in Iron Man 2 as a dying man who told his son that he co-created the arc reactor with Howard Stark but was deported to Siberia and destined to a life of poverty. Anton wanted to use their creation to make money, but Howard realised it could be used to help people. A prequel comic book shed some light on why he was deported, but it should be very interesting to see how the series deals with all of this. Ronin recently starred in The Americans, but he's also known for Extant and Red Dog. What do you guys think?
