Rumors have been doing the rounds about Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. star Chloe Bennet potentially reprising the role of Daisy Johnson, aka Quake, in the Marvel Cinematic Universe for quite a while now, and the actress has just dropped a pretty big hint that she is indeed set to return.
Murphy's Multiverse owner Charles Murphy tends to Tweet out Quake GIFs to troll his followers (for some reason), and when he made a few not-so-nice comments about Bennet's acting (he "can't imagine Bennet sharing the screen with talent like Florence Pugh, Hailee Steinfeld or Samuel L. Jackson"), she responded with the following.
Yaaas Queen, get him Mother, etc.
Far from confirmation, but certainly a decent indication that Miss Johnson will be showing up in the MCU at some point. When and where that could be is hard to say, but Secret Invasion seems to be the most popular theory.
Quake was revealed to be an Inhuman in the now defunct ABC series, but Marvel Studios has yet to introduce this race, and recently retconned Ms. Marvel's Inhuman origin to make her a Mutant. Will the same changes be applied for Daisy's debut?
If Bennet has indeed been signed to a Marvel Studios contract, does it open the door to some of her AOS cast-mates joining her in the MCU? We have a feeling Quake might be the exception, but who knows what Kevin Feige and co. may have in store for the Multiverse-centric Phase 5.
