The second season of Marvel's Cloak and Dagger will debut in early April on the Freeform network, and we now have our first look at the upcoming season courtesy of a short teaser trailer. While the teaser is just 15 seconds long, it shows plenty of quick snippets of footage from the sophomore effort that will surely excite fans.

In the teaser, we see Tandy Bowen (Olivia Holt) and Tyrone Johnson (Aubrey Joseph) both using their powers and working together to be heroes. Brigid O'Reilly (Emma Lahana) is firing her gun, and an ambulance is crashed on its side. We then see Tandy and Tyrone gathered behind O'Reilly and asking what she has been working on, only for her to reply "this is Mayhem." The teaser ends with blood spreading towards a white powdered cross.

The action-packed footage continues the tease of Mayhem arriving in Season 2, something that has been heavily featured in all marketing so far. Mayhem, of course, refers to Detective O'Reilly, who has transformed into the fan-favorite comics anti-hero after being killed and then revived by darkforce matter in the season 1 finale.

Marvel's Cloak and Dagger Season 2 will debut with a two-hour premiere on April 4 at 8 pm EST/PST. The second season will consist of 10 episodes.

Season 2 is looking pretty good! That was a nice short teaser, pieced together quite well. Looking forward to it, especially Lahana's Mayhem. Hoping this season is stronger than season 1.

Season one was great! High hopes for season 2. Will this be canceled or kept, potentially on HULU?

@LiteraryJoe - I don't see it going anywhere anytime soon. Hulu is very happy with this show and clearly want to keep and expand their relationship with Marvel (unlike Netflix). At the very least, I imagine we get a 3rd season.

@LiteraryJoe - I watched the first season on Hulu as each episode was released... so as far as I know it’s already on Hulu...
aaand... Disney is about to own a 60% share of Hulu... so I don’t see it going away.

And yeah... it’s a very good show.
