Marvel Finally Reveals Rosario Dawson's Role In DAREDEVIL
There had been a lot of speculation surrounding who Rosario Dawson would be playing in Daredevil, with suggestions ranging from Elektra to White Tiger. However, we now know that she will in fact star as Claire Temple, a character strongly hinted to be the MCU version of Night Nurse...
During the Daredevil panel at the New York Comic Con, Jeph Loeb announced that Rosario Dawson - who was not present due to commitments elsewhere - will play Claire Temple, "a Nurse who works at Night". The character should be well-known to Daredevil and Doctor Strange fans, while the clinic where she helped to treat the wounds of injured superheroes was seen in a number of books, including New Avengers. A brief scene from the Netflix series was also shown following this announcement, and it apparently featured Claire taking care of the injured Matt Murdock after pulling him off the street (presumably after an early crime fighting attempt goes wrong).
"Marvel's Daredevil" follows the journey of Matt Murdock, who was blinded as a young boy but imbued with extraordinary senses, now fighting against injustice by day as a lawyer, and by night as the super hero Daredevil in modern day Hell's Kitchen, New York City.
