THE FALCON AND THE WINTER SOLDIER Finale Stills Put The Spotlight Squarely On Captain America

Marvel Studios has released one last batch of stills from The Falcon and The Winter Soldier's finale, "One World, One People," and as you might expect, they put the spotlight on Captain America...

The Falcon and The Winter Soldier's first season wrapped up with Sam Wilson finally becoming Captain America. The Marvel Cinematic Universe now has a new hero wielding the shield, and given the events of the finale, we're sure you'll agree that the former Falcon is deserving of the mantle.

On Friday, Marvel Studios released the first batch of stills from "One World, One People," and more images from the episode have now been shared. As you might expect, the spotlight is put squarely on the new Cap as he heads into action to face the Flag Smashers. That suit looks fantastic, as does U.S. Agent's (which, unfortunately, we only get to see from behind here as he meets with the mysterious "Val").

Baron Zemo, Sharon Carter, and Isaiah Bradley are all also featured in this gallery, with the latter's emotional meeting with Sam in the Smithsonian the main focus.

Ultimately, it will be those shots of the new Cap that generate the most excitement. Anthony Mackie looks perfect in the role, and Marvel Studios did a great job creating the costume in live-action.

In our full review of the first season of The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, we concluded by saying "Inconsistent storytelling and weak lead villains aside, The Falcon and The Winter Soldier is a hard-hitting and action-packed new chapter in the MCU mythos which delivers an insightful and impactful exploration of what it means for a Black man to be Captain America."

Check out these newly released stills from the finale below:

Waited for the whole show to be done so I could binge it in one seating and ended up LOVING it. I don't think I would love it as much if I stuck to the weekly release.

I am assuming it as Shuri that engineered and built Sams new wings in Wakanda, and they are awesome. Supporting Sam when needed, protecting him from big weapons/impacts... the suit is a bit more "comic book" than I expected from a Marvel movie... But it worked better than Cap's suit in the first Avengers team film. That just looked... embarrassing. I am glad they changed it back to the First Avenger suit for other films.

I hope we get to see Joaquin in the new Falcon suit, because, although Sam's Cap outfit looks good, that Falcon outfit looked great in my opinion.

Marvel nails it with those costumes, i have My nitpicks with sams cap costume but overall is a great translation from page to screen, same with Walkers.

@Dannywest - I think the only upgrades I'd want for a movie is more solid red in the gloves/boots and a better overall fit on the suit as a whole. Someone mentioned the differences between the Daredevil S1 finale and the more snug fit in the S2 suit as the sort of change we could expect and I agree

That cowl works way better than it has any right to

@OmegaDaGrodd - i could go without the neck piece, and tone down the white in the suit, it makes it look like plástic. For Walker id make the chest Star brighter because it gets Lost in the black of the suit and the lightning doesnt help. Otherwise, these are perfect translations.
