With the recent announcement that Scott Buck has signed on to helm Netflix's next Marvel venture, it wasn't going to be long before other information about the hotly anticipated Iron Fist series hit the interwebs. Well, this is just rumor for now, but Point of Geeks have released some informational tidbits regarding the show's production. According to their sources, the show has its sights set on an April shooting date in New York and will go under the production title of "Kick". Rather subtle considering the main character's actual power being in his fist. That's not all they reveal. Some alleged casting call details have been revealed as well. The name's are a bit skewered, but it shouldn't be too difficult to suss out who these refer to.
DYLAN KENDALL 25 – 28 yrs old Handsome and sophisticated, independent and a loner. SERIES REGULAR
HARRY MARSHALL 45 – 50 yrs old Caucasian, highly intelligent, merciless, confident and arrogant, physically active. SERIES REGULAR
That first one has got to be Danny Rand. Notice how the race of the character isn't specified like the second. We just got news that Marvel might even be looking for Asian American actors for Iron Fist, so this could also be an indication of that. The second name could well be that of Harold Meachum, the man who was kinda responsible for the death of Danny's dad Wendell on a trek to K'un L'un. Finally, Point of Geeks say that their sources have told them that Carrie-Anne Moss's character Jeri Hogarth (who appeared in Jessica Jones) will definitely be putting in an appearance in Iron Fist as well.
