James Marsters, star of Hulu's upcoming Marvel drama
Runaways, received an official welcome into the ever expanding Marvel family by none other than Stan Lee.
At the SuperNova Comic Con in Australia, Marsters appeared onstage where he was warmly greeted by Lee. Check out the video Marsters shared on his Twitter. By the look on Marsters face at the end of the video, you can tell it was a very big moment for him.
"I want to welcome you, Jim, to the Marvel family," Lee said to the actor. "I wish you the best of luck. You've got a great show, you've got a great role, I'm going to be jealous as hell. You knock 'em dead, you hear me?"
Runaways follows six high school friends gathering for pizza on the same night and in the same house where their parents are holding a meeting for their supposed charitable foundation. They stumble upon a secret tunnel and discover their parents, decked out in deep red robes, carrying out what looks a lot like a human sacrifice.
Runaways premieres November 21st on Hulu. The official ynopsis is below
After discovering their parents are super-villains in disguise, a group of teenagers band together to run away from their homes in order to atone for their parents' actions and to discover the secrets of their origins.
