Frank Castle Commandeers A Police Car In These Action-Packed New Set Photos From THE PUNISHER

Instead of the usual two, we may actually be getting three new Marvel/Netflix seasons this year with the third one being The Punisher, which is currently expected to debut Q4 2017. Come take a look!

"One batch, two batch, penny and dime."

Jon Bernthal's portrayal of Frank Castle was far-and-away the breakout performance of Daredevil season two, and in fact, Bernthal was so good that Marvel/Netflix decided to fast-track his very own spin-off series, titled The Punisher, which is due out in the fourth quarter of the 2017 calendar year, barring any unexpected delays.

The series is currently filming in New York and a whole new batch of set photos has just surfaced featuring The Punisher getting into a bit of a tussle with local law enforcement. Unsurprisingly, he does gain the upper hand and by the end of the brief altercation, he has successfully commandeered the officer's vehicle. Now, as for where he's going with the vehicle, that's anyone's guess and something we likely won't learn more about till next winter.

Netflix has ordered a full first season of “Marvel’s The Punisher,” continuing their unprecedented collaboration with Marvel Television.

Jon Bernthal will reprise his role as Frank Castle, introduced to fans earlier this year in the second season of the Netflix original series “Marvel’s Daredevil,” with Steve Lightfoot (“Hannibal”) serving as Executive Producer and Showrunner in addition to writing the series’ first two episodes.

The Punisher features:
Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle/Punisher
Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page
Ben Barnes as Billy Russo/Jigsaw
Ebon Moss-Bachrach as David Lieberman/Micro
Amber Rose Revah as Dinah Madani
Michael Nathanson as Sam Stein
Daniel Webber as Lewis Walcott
Jason R. Moore as Curtis Hoyle
Paul Schulze as Rawlins

Just bring in Barracuda at some point, Marvel.

@mtwiggs - I had this great idea for how to implement barracuda. He should be a former member of the howling commandos that was discharged for being too unstable. He is then contracted by a bunch of crooked generals to kill frank because frank has some dirt on them. When he fails the generals quarantine a section of the city and cut the power. This leaves frank to deal with the chaos that insues with gangsters running amok. The generals then send in the real howling commandos to take out frank and there can be a cool kind of cat and mouse that goes on. Just my idea of how parts of both the max series and the recent edmondson runs could be implemented.

I'm guessing Luke Cage and Frank Castle were cellmates.

Seems good so far. I've kind of been feeling like the Netflix shows have been decreasing in quality, so I hope this is as good as JJ and Daredevil S1, as opposed to LC and Daredevil S2.
