Various other auditions for Marvel's television shows have arisen before, usually right before filming is about to begin. Well it looks like Punisher is indeed coming sooner than people thought, as new audition tapes have surfaced for characters for roles in The Punisher.

These two auditions seem to give us a glimpse into Frank Castle's history as a soldier, leading to the accident that created the traumatic 'sympathetic storming' in his brain that turned him from family man into the vengeful Punisher. These auditions below also match up with previous reports about auditions for the character 'Micro' in the Punisher spinoff series, teased at the end of Daredevil's second season.

Another audition seems to give us a glimpse into Robbie Reye's portrayal in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D, as Robbie is held at gunpoint and intimidating his opponent with the threat of transforming into the Ghost Rider, saying he has sold his soul to the Devil. Worth noting: this video was published in June, long before Ghost Rider was even rumored to have a role in the ABC series.

Yet another audition features a character named Hugo, which, judging by the dialogue, may be part of a group searching for Robbie Reyes, who is in posession of some kind of book that they are after.

Wayne Knight did a great job as Micro. Hope I can say the same for the new actor.

In unrelated news, Midnight's Edge just released the final video in the Spider-Man Cinematic Saga. After watching it, you are going to be glad that Marvel Studios is handling the Spider-Man films.

Hm. If I was an actor who relied on audition tapes, I'd probably invest in a boom mic or a lavalier mic.
