New WANDAVISION Concept Art Reveals A Thor-Inspired Costume For Billy Maximoff

Marvel Studios concept artist Andy Park has shared some early designs for the Halloween costumes Tommy and Billy wore in WandaVision, and the latter's outfit was originally going to be inspired by Thor.

In WandaVision's Halloween episode, Tommy Maximoff's outfit paid homage to his uncle Pietro, while Billy's was reminiscent of his Wiccan costume from the comic books. Now, some new concept art has revealed that the latter's getup was originally going to be inspired by the God of Thunder.

Marvel Studios artist Andy Park debuted some early designs for the twins' costumes during a Visual Development Panel for Icon Manilla (via The Direct), and Billy can be seen sporting Thor's red cape, helmet wings and gauntlets. Tommy is still wearing a Quicksilver-inspired outfit, although there are some minor differences.

As comic book fans will likely be aware, Billy didn't choose a random Avenger to dress as. Before he adopted the superhero name Wiccan, he modelled his persona on Thor and called himself The Asgardian.

The images are a little blurry, but Park will probably share better quality versions at some point.

The last time we saw Billy and Tommy, Wanda and Vision were bidding them a heartbreaking farewell as The Hex crumbled around Westview in the WandaVision series finale. However, The Scarlet Witch later heard her children calling for help while studying the Darkhold, which would seem to suggest the pair will return to the MCU down the line.

It wouldn't have made sense for the plot considering that Wanda sort of erased the existence of The Avengers out of Vision's mind and her children's minds. It was only Agnes that kept chipping away at Wanda's psyche.

Hopefully Billy and Tommy will appear in DS2 next year.

Can't wait for Young Avengers. Kinda hoping it'll be a movie and not a D+ show but I'll gladly take either.

An adaption of the Children's Crusade would be awesome.
