WANDAVISION: Check Out Some Spoiler Stills From Today's "Breaking The Fourth Wall"

As per usual, Marvel Studios has released some stills from today's episode of WandaVision, and while we wouldn't say they ruin anything, a few of you might consider what's on offer here to be spoilers...

WandaVision once again didn't disappoint when the latest episode - titled "Breaking the Fourth Wall" - debuted on Disney+ this morning. As well as featuring some big surprises, it also had the show's first mid-credits scene (which nicely set the stage for the final two episodes of the series).

You can read our spoiler-filled recap by clicking here, while you'll find more on that stinger here. Oh, and as for the episode's biggest reveal, that can be watched in this post.

 All caught up?

Good, because Marvel Studios has now shared a handful of official images from this week's WandaVision. The first few focus on the Modern Family-inspired parts of the episode before we see Monica Rambeau's badass vehicle in action...minus that aerospace engineer, of course.

There's also a fantastic, meme-worthy shot of Vision as he breaks the fourth-wall and looks at the camera. Something tells us we'll see a lot of GIFs and memes spring from this particular episode! There are now only two instalments left, and it feels a lot like things are about to escalate in a major way in Westview. Plus, we're still waiting on the major cameo Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany have teased.

Check out these new WandaVision stills below:

It was Agatha all along *taps foot*

So, Agatha is just evil in this show right? I thought she was Wanda's mentor in the comics. I also have a feeling that she's being possessed by Chthon, or she's just using Westview as a means to train Wanda to control her powers.

@soberchimera - I mean she killed Sparky

@TheGrayGhost - Was Sparky even real to begin with though? Also, she could be possessed by Chthon/Mephisto.

@soberchimera - I see a few possibilities here:

Agatha is just evil, as you say.

Agatha was subjected to the same kind of thing as Wanda is going through now, and was ultimately convinced that she was evil. Whatever is behind this very much wants the world and Wanda to think she’s evil herself. Maybe it worked on Agatha.

Agatha is still being forced to play a role. Much like Wanda isn’t totally in control despite being the “star” of her show, we’re shown that Agatha is also starring in her own show (as an aside, we still have no explanation for the sitcom thing at all, I note) and therefore may be under something else’s influence as well.

Agatha is purposely playing this role to get something from Wanda, but it’s ultimately for a good reason. This would fit with the comic character, who can be manipulative and do dark actions (like murdering Ebony) but it’s usually in the service of a greater good or thwarting a greater evil.

Either way, I suspect that Agatha has revealed herself as a cackling villain in order to provoke Wanda into expending more magic. Wanda had fallen into depression and her powers were waning as she lost the drive to keep up the charade. Whatever is behind this doesn’t want that (again, it looked like Wanda’s powers were possibly reassembling the Darkhold or some other book in Agatha’s basement), and so now Agnes becomes the evil Agatha and can draw the last bit of magic needed from her through direct conflict between them.

@soberchimera - Haha Was only joking re Sparky. My guess is that she is the one villain here but will see that she was working for/with someone we have yet seen. So yea, she evil.

@soberchimera - Well, we have some story left before we can determine where she's at on the spectrum of good and evil. We definitely saw that she was being deliberately deceptive, but we don't know the motive quite yet. We also have to consider that Wanda might be becoming a villain. And yes, she was Wanda's mentor in the comics. So that could certainly still play out here regardless of their moral alignments.

I think, however we get there, this ends with how Wanda gets her name, Scarlet Witch. By an actual witch bestowing that on her.

After last weeks great episode this one was a bit of a let down. I mean yeah it's been pretty obvious that Agatha has been manipulating Wanda to some extent, so that reveal just landed with a thud.

I was really expecting a Mephisto reveal when Wabda walked down to the basement.

Is anyone really surprised that is was Agatha? I’m sure she was suspect number 1 from day 1. Also what does this mean for Evan Peters’ Quicksilver? Is he not real? Is he Mephisto or Nightmare? Are we not getting some kind of connection to the X-Men universe?

@tb86 - I think he’s either Mephisto that Agatha disguised as Pietro or just a minion of hers.

@tb86 - I don't think anyone is surprised. I think it was intentionally obvious. But without explicitly saying it, they maintained the integrity of how the story was to be told.

Also, for casual fans who don't know who Agatha is, I imagine this would be a cool reveal. Something that would make them run to the internet.

It’s ironic how Darcy is an escape artist as a persona in wnada’s show and the last time we saw her she was handcuffed to a car 👀

Pretty underwhelming that that scientist ended up being no one but that ending was awesome. Also everyone is talking about Agatha but my big take away if they are really going full Photon with Monica by the end of the show

@Ha1frican - some leaks say the scientist wouldn't be revealed until next week

@MyCoolYoung - Ah ok, let’s hope so. I dont know why this is just crossing my mind now but could it be Hank Pym?

@Ha1frican - I've heard both hank and laurence fishburne, but the way they're hyping it you'd think it's somebody big
