WandaVision showed us a very different side of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and it's clear the introduction of the Scarlet Witch is going to be a game-changer for this shared world.
We'll see the ramifications of Wanda Maximoff's transformation in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness next year, but what about Agatha Harkness? She's been left trapped in Westview, with no memories of her past; however, should Wanda choose to free Harkness and unlock her mind, then the former Avenger may have a powerful, dangerous new partner.
In the video below, actress Kathryn Hahn was asked about her possible MCU return, but claimed to be completely in the dark about Agatha's future. "I don’t know. I hope somewhere. I hope anywhere," she admitted. "I love her madly. Listen, I’m with you. But who knows?"
Asked which characters she'd next like to see the witch cross paths with, Hahn added: "I mean, I’ve still got a real soft spot for Lizzie Olsen, but, I don’t know if she’ll have me anymore." When the interviewer suggested that Wanda and Agatha could star in Marvel Studios' version of Thelma and Louise, the actress responded: "I like it. A rough ending, but that would be...we’d have to lift it up."
We're bound to see more of "Agnes" before long and there's already speculation online she could appear in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. If the Sorcerer Supreme does indeed clash with the Scarlet Witch, then Wanda turning to her former neighbour for help does make sense.
