WHAT IF? LEGO Set Reveals Captain Carter's Stealth Suit And Confirms [SPOILER] Will Return In The Show

The "Captain Carter and HYDRA Stomper" LEGO set has been officially unveiled, and as well as revealing Peggy's stealth suit, we also get confirmation that a certain villain will make his return in What If?

It appears Marvel Studios is waiting until Loki concludes before sharing more details on what we can expect from What If?, but a newly revealed LEGO set leaves us with plenty of talking points.

Titled "Captain Carter & The HYDRA Stomper," it reveals that Peggy Carter will be decked out in a Stealth Suit at some point, which obviously harkens back to what Steve Rogers wore in Captain America: The Winter Soldier. It's a cool look for the Variant Super Soldier, while Steve can be seen piloting that Iron Monger-style battle suit created by Howard Stark.

However, the biggest reveal here has to be the appearance of the Red Skull. While we shouldn't be surprised that he's still the MCU's big bad during World War II, this is the first time his role in What If? has been teased, and we're guessing Ross Marquand will return to voice the villain given what little interest Hugo Weaving has shown in returning to the MCU.

A synopsis for the show was shared during last year's Disney Investor Day, revealing: "'What If…?' flips the script on the MCU, reimagining famous events from the films in unexpected ways."

"Coming to Disney+ in summer 2021, Marvel Studios’ first animated series focuses on different heroes from the MCU," it continues, "featuring a voice cast that includes a host of stars who reprise their roles. The series is directed by Bryan Andrews; Ashley Bradley is head writer."

What If? premieres on Disney+ this August.
