WHAT IF...? Season 2 Episode Titles Confirm Rumored Returns & Surprising Scenarios - Possible SPOILERS

The episode titles for the second season of Marvel Studios' animated anthology series, What If...?, have been shared online, and they would seem to confirm some very interesting rumors about the show.

There have been some conflicting reports about what exactly the upcoming second season of Marvel Studios' What If...? will focus on, with brief episode descriptions seemingly giving us a pretty good idea of what to expect.

It was suggested that these weren't the final, complete episode titles and were likely subject to change, and insider Can We Get Some Toast (via Toonado.com) has now shared what appear to be the actual titles of the ten episodes that will make up season 2 of the animated anthology series.

The titles would seem to confirm some previous rumors, such as the Happy Hogan Christmas story and Thor: Ragnarök villain Hela gaining even more power by harnessing the Ten Rings from Shang-Chi. It also looks like the third instalment will feature the debut of Kahhori, the new Native American superhero created specifically for this show.

Marvel previously shared an official breakdown of her episode.

"What If…? asks what would happen if the Tesseract fell to Earth and landed in the sovereign Haudenosaunee Confederacy before the colonization of America. The Tesseract takes on a new life and a new mythology, transforming a lake into a gateway to the stars and leading Kahhori, a young Mohawk woman, on a quest to discover her power."

Arguably, the most intriguing titles are "What If... Peter Quill Attacked Earth's Mightiest Heroes" (best of luck, Star-Lord), and "What If... The Avengers Assembled in 1602," which has the potential to spotlight very different Variants of some familiar faces.

The second season of What If...? still hasn't been given an official premiere date, but is not expected to debut on Disney+ until Q1 2024, with the third season pencilled in for some time in 2025.

Excuse me?!?! 😳 The "NOVA Corps" of the comics that feature flying, cosmically powered individuals or the "NOVA Corps" of Jimmy Gunn's movies that portrayed the Corp members as powerless space-cops and common prison-guards???

I'm only excited for Marvel 1602, I read that comic when I was younger and I really enjoyed it. However, I'm afraid that they might [frick] it up like what they did with Marvel Zombies.

@Comicmoviejunki - It would be cool of they actually took events from the MCU and showed what would happen if the outcome had been different. Like, What If Tony Stark Never Escaped the Cave. Or What If They Never Found Steve Rogers.

But all these random things with characters is just weird. And who cares about this new character they are creating?

Nova episode : could beinteresting I guess depending how they play it

Peter episode : guessing thats the if yondu brought him to ego episode

Hela episode : could go either way in terms of being interesting or uninteresting

Iron man episode : the episode cut from season 1

happy episode : could be just pure stupid fun

captain carter 2 : the season 1 episode was decent, a bit rushed but had some great stuff. pace it better and it should be a step up from the previous episode.

1602 episode : this going to be heroes from the 1600's (im sure marvel must have characters in that time period. or is this going to be the regular character if they existed in that time. like are we getting a steam punk iron man or something.

Strange supreme : uhhh, the season 1 episode was decent, but felt very rushed, but either way this is clearly another multiverse team up. seriously once in a while is one thing, but every season is too much

Wasn't the twist in 1602 that the blonde native american guy was Steve Rogers, thrown back in time? Wonder if that's going to connect with this new random "what if the Tesseract was discovered in Pre-Columbian America?" episode?

I don't really count what an "insider" says as confirmation, so I think there should be a "rumoured" in the title (or maybe even a 'rumour' tage like there is for 'opinion').

Anyway, if these are the actual titles I suppose these sound fun. A Hela vs Wenwu especially could be really interesting. The Peter Quill one is probably a sequel to the Black Panther Star-Lord episode.

@ElvenKingSlayer - I like that one better to be honest. We already kinda saw the one I suggest in the last episode of S1 anyway.

I'm okay with the Hydra Stomper episode already kind of being a 'What If Steve Rogers was the Winter Soldier', although I rather don't see too many sequel episodes
