With so many unique characters in What If...?, it's no wonder Funko just revealed another batch of Pop Vinyls for the Marvel Studios animated series. There's still no sign of Heist Nebula (we're not sure that can be forgiven), but there are lots of cool new additions to the ever-growing line here.
We have that Ravager Variant of Thanos, two versions of Killmonger in Ultron's armour, the Arnim Zola-controlled Vision, The Watcher in a badass fighting stance, Gamora, Captain Carter in the Stealth costume, and the Loki Variant who was returned to his Frost Giant parents by Odin.
You'll also notice that Infinity Ultron now has The Vision's face beneath his helmet, so Funko has clearly updated it after the backlash from fans about the lack of accuracy to the show.
Talking of The Watcher and his armour, What If...? Head Writer A.C. Bradley has addressed his future in the series. "I love The Watcher because he's always a dramatic b*tch. [Laughs] 'I will not interfere. I can't! I can't possibly. I can't...Okay, let me do this.' So hopefully we'll see him interact more in the second season, but he also knows that interfering and meddling in time can have consequences."
Time will tell on that front, of course, though we would be surprised not to see The Watcher make his presence felt in an upcoming live-action project like Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.
