Called Revolution, the series is described as being an "epic adventure thriller" in which a family attempts to reunite in an apocalyptic landscape; "a world of empty cities, local militias and heroic freedom fighters, where every single piece of technology -- computers, planes, cars, phones, even lights -- has mysteriously blacked out ... forever."

The series will star Billy Burke from Twilight, David Lyons, Tracy Spiridakos, Giancarlo Esposito, Anna Lise Phillips, Graham Rogers, Tim Guinee, Zak Orth and JD Pardo.

The pilot is being directed by Iron Man/Iron Man 2 helmer Jon Fravreau.

Favreau had Iron Man 1. Iron Man 2, not as bad as people say, but I understand. HOWEVER, Cowboys and Aliens sucked. So we will see...
