Rex is great and it would be awesome to see him pop up in the Ahsoka series

Temuera must be glad he signed on to play the originator of an entire clone army all those years ago, it's really paying off having so many characters with your face :p

That would be great. He was one of the best characters on the Clone Wars show.

I'm happy for all the live action projects, especially since they bring more attention to great animated characters and story arcs. However, I'm craving more Star Wars animation. Aside from Bad Batch (which looks great) it's just Visions (which is cool, but I assume is outsourced and doesn't affect Lucasfilm animation's output capacity) and Droid Story which seems much more geared toward young children. I don't think it'd be realistic for them to have as many animated series as live action, but 2 would be great. Still waiting on my dream show of the OT crew's adventures as they build up the New Republic.

@BIGBMH - hard agree. I personally wasn’t too excited about the rebels sequel (mainly cause I didn’t watch it), but I would love to see more animated series. Maybe they could even give the sequel trilogy its own ‘Clone Wars’ and give that part of the story some much needed meat on its bones

@ItsMilesMorales - Personally, I don't believe there was ever going to be a "Rebels sequel" the way many imagined. I don't consider Rebels to be a full Clone Wars sequel, although it picks up many threads and characters. It's a different kind of show centered on a different cast. I always imagined that if there was a Rebels follow-up, it would be to Rebels what Rebels was to Clone Wars. The "Rebels sequel" elements would be a secondary feature within a show of a different focus.

As for a sequel trilogy "Clone Wars" I'm personally not drawn to the idea since even setting aside my narrative issues with the sequels, I find the era as a whole to be a pretty uninspired rehash of the OT era. However, I could see the value in expanding on it if storytellers were able to make it feel distinct and interesting. It could help the sequel era like Clone Wars did for the prequel era. It still might not be my cup of tea, but I'd be happy for the fans who are interested in that era.

So as per the comics... Ben Solo is the first trained by Luke Skywalker... but now it seems that Grogu is the first now.

Episode 7-8-9 soon to be in the trash can ? hehe

If so.. thank you Filoni

I always thought the clones died young, outside Bobba who was a pure clone. He was pretty up there in age by the time of Rebels, I can’t imagine how old he’ll be by the post-Empire time of Mando.

Okay when it comes to the clones I just love everything abou it. I used to hate the idea entirely, but MAN, thr Clone Wars did some heavy lifting in that department. So much so in fact that two of them are now in my top 10 Star Wars character list:
Rex and Fives

Sooo: By Episode 3 Rex and Cody are both 13 years old but look like men in their mid 40s. which would mean that they age about 3 times as fast as normal humans.

17 ish years later by the time of Rebeld Season 2, Rex looks like a man in his mid 60s early 70s maybe. SO that means, after a certain point the clones DO NOT age faster but do in fact age at s normal pace.

The Mandalorian takes place 10 years after that which would mean that Rex would be in his late 70s, early 80s.

But here's the thing I find interesting now: By the time of Revenge of the Sith there are still Clones on Kamino in their birthing tubes and if the operation is shut down right then these clones would still grow up to be fully functioning soldiers, pressuming the Kaminoans don't just axe them of course.

So that would mean that 13 years in to the empire there would still be Prime Clone troopers running around and all of those already in comission don't just dissappear!

So I think just by pure math we really have to rethink how many Stormtroopers in thd Empire are actually Clones, even by the time of the OT.

THIS KIND OF STUFF, my fellow gentlemen is precisely the reason I am looking forward to the Bad Batch series the most.
